We're planning to come down in late August of '10 - mom, dad, 7 y.o. son and 22 month old daughter...trying to figure out where to stay for our NON-Universal leg of the trip. Could someone give me input? Hotel or vacation rental? We're open and will have our own van (we're driving down!)

Also we'd like to do our last night in town at one of the US Resorts. RPR really appeals to me. Do codes come up? Right now I'm seeing $219 a night.

Thanks,
Rachel in NJ

rates should drop in late august for the hotels.
well, they have in the past.

don't know of any code you can get for one night stay except for the AAA discount.

the great rates are geared to a several night stay.
usually 3 nights for the best deals.

Hi,

Check on the uk universal website and compare the fares.
it is quoted in usd , I got a bargain for next august only paying 261 usd/ night for a concierge room at the HRH instead of 389/night for the AAA rate.
Worth a try.
and there is no problem to have the rate applied to a new or existing reservation even if you do not live in the UK

Have fun

Isabelle
