August 2009 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Does anyone have an 'Ohana breakfast on 8/21 or 8/22 for 2 (or 3) people that they are looking to cancel?
i have nothing to trade :-( just wondering...

Has he tried using the online system to see what's available? I've noticed that there actually is quite a bit of availability during that time frame, but I'm sure he will still have to be pretty flexible.

I'm trying to do it for him, and I'm not getting much. He was really hoping for a non-princess character meal, but so far no luck.

What a roller coaster ride it is trying to nail down ADRS! I have Cinderella's Royal Table Dreams Come True Dinner on Mon, Aug 24 at 5:25pm for 4 people. We were able to get a lunch, which is what we really wanted, and I don't need to eat at the castle twice.

Dd will be joining us on Mon, Aug 24 as a surprise to the rest of the family, so I'm hoping someone out there would be willing to trade an early Ohana or Chef Mickey's dinner (must be before 7pm) for a party of 5..in exchange for Cinderella's Royal Table at 5:25 party of 4.

Also, does anyone know what would happen if we showed up, say an hour early, for any of our ADRs? Would they seat us or would we hae to wait until our actual ADR time to check in?

After countless calls to WDW-DINE, I finally scored a Fantasmic! Dining Package for 4 guests!!

I am excited about getting a Fantasmic! Package; however, I would have preferred Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine with the Kids.

If anyone has a reservation at any of those locations (with a F! Package) for a party of 4 and are looking for a Brown Derby Package, please PM me and we can discuss a possible swap.

Question....not to get flamed but why do people hold reservations that they know they are not going to use?

We planned a last minute trip and there is much to nothing available for us. I'm wondering how many book breakfast, lunch and dinner to decide what they want and end up at one TS for the day....never cancel either to open it up for others.

Sorry I've had a very frustrating day at work and felt like taking it out.

You booked a last minute trip during free dining? The TS places fill up like mad, so that may be your problem.

As far as people doing multiple bookings, it has always been the case. However the people in this thread are actually the folk that CANCEL their ressies when they find something else.

It's very frustrating, I know. You may get a wider non flame reponse if yu post a new thread on this though, instead of here, where the folk are doing the right thing.

Oh I completely agree with you. I've never double booked but I can see where you can easily do it with the new online system by using different names and/or phone numbers. I figured we would have a hard time getting our favorites for dining on such a last minute notice and really I'm just estatic to be going back again. This trip will give us the chance to try some other meals that we may not have ever thought to try. Amazingly I did manage to get Le Celier on our first day for a late 2:20pm lunch! In our three years of going to Disney I've never been able to get a dinner there so this will work for us! I do have a reservation for every day but most of them are for lunches and we always like to do our TS for dinner. We'll just switch things up this year. I also snagged a Crystal Palace breakfast at 10am one day too! I'm not doing too bad considering.
