???August 2004???

Anyone know what is going on August 2004? The Magic has 5 "black-out" weeks from the end of July to the first week in Sept. They are alternate weeks and the Western cruise is still going. Why are these weeks being held out? Thanks, Bee

I've been trying to book an Eastern cruise in August 2004 since last August. The only answer I have received from Disney is that the ship will be in drydock those weeks. Should I really believe that they are going to pull the Magic out of the water every other week?

I would still love to book during one of the weeks.

I find it hard to believe they are taking the Magic out of commission in the summer. This is such a expensive, primetime to go. They can get so much more $$$ from everyone due to it being peak season. I thought they were doing the drydock thing in the fall of 2003. I'll call Disney on Monday and see what they say.

Drydock is the end of Sept. I wonder if it has anything with negotiations of ports. Maybe they'll be changing the ports.
