Welcome dianthus and jin diesel to our thread--we are a bunch of nice, fun loving and crazy people who just want to make this the best cruise ever. Glad some of you guys decided to come over and play....did I mention that Boston Pétér is leaving for WDW on Thursday...if I didn't mention it, I'm sure he will pop in and tell us again!! Actually a few of our friends (cruisers from last October 2003) will be cruising on the May cruise and while I would have loved to be the premier cruise through the Panama Canal, I don't think that DD's principal would have been an overjoyed with her missing all of that school at the end of the school year (we go to school until June 11th).

And Pétér...don't I get a present from WDW since I had to purchase over 50 Burger King happy meals for your crowns???

Invite any of your other cruisers over any time..we really a very nice and don't bite!!

jin diesel...we hope to fly out to California on Tuesday night so we will be out there for several days. Would love to meet up with you!! Mary Jo

My family and I won't be joining you wonderful people next August. We've had a few problems and-after careful consideration, we decided that one cruise a year is plenty. We're still sailing 2/19/05.

I do regret that I will not meet so many of you. I was REALLY looking forward to that. You all know who you are.

I am fighting back the tears typing this. It would have been a blast.

Take care-and enjoy it!!

Ursula

Sorry you won't be joining us. Enjoy your cruise in February. I'm sure you'll have a great time on it. February is an awesome time to escape the cold.

So sorry to hear you can't make it; would have enjoyed meeting you. Hope you have a great cruise in February!

:wave2: Hi everyone, I am still here. Summers are terribly busy for us as we always take a 3 1/2 day weekends for camping. I
So much has happened here since I left! Welcome to some, sorry to the family that can't make it.

I tried to log onto Yahoo but it told me to try again. Hope I don't forget.

Don't know who said it but is that for real???? We probably won't be allowed to bring on Pepsi or whatever???? My gosh, my dh will be climbing the walls before we get home without his pepsi!! I would be taking it on as carryon.

Welcome home Rae! Hope you had a great trip.

Sorry to the family that decided not to take the cruise.

Andy hope the day wasn't too bad and that you read lots and lots of water meters.

We are hot today 80+ I think. With something around 90 tomorrow. Will be spending my time inside.
Off to get ready for work and before that to check out the Yahoo thing. Estelle

but someone else has taken my "handle"!

I've had to alter it a bit!

Gotta get back to work!

So sorry to hear that we have lost a group. :(

Chat Later!

Huh? Where? Who said it?

I know there was a joke about no Costco merchandise, but I couldn't find anything prior to this about no non-coke soda products.

But then again I'm trying to recover from the Costco Thing!LOL

Next thing you guys will be trying to tell me that CA will be falling into the ocean!;) BTW, what year is that suppose to happen?

Don't worry that's not happening for a while. But "THE BIG ONE" is due within the next year or so! :earseek:

Thanks to all for the nice welcome!

Oh, and how about those Bolts, huh?

The game was very close checking and Calgary didn't show up for the first 45 minutes....

What was hilarious was the Tampa Bay newspaper had two editions ready for either eventuality (Tampa's win or loss). After they won they had the correct lead story but their editorial lamented about how they lost but congratulated them on having had a great season nevertheless :)
This was on their online version......

May be the last hockey (NHL anyway) we see for a year or so if the millionaires don't get their acts together.

Congrats to Tampa...

Cheers,
Grumbo

Just sent my information to Three Circles. Love the website!!

Down to Niagara yesterday and was speaking with my parents who are accompanying us on the cruise.
They have never been to Vegas and we discussed the possibility of flying to Vegas first, spending a couple of days there, driving to L.A. (what is that 4 - 5 hours???) then going to D.L. and port. I have a price of a van for a week, all taxes and the drop off fee included for $370.
The airfare is quite a bit cheaper to Vegas than L.A.. We're doing the Grand Canyon and lots of touring this summer but thought it would be great for my parents to see plus the cost wouldn't be appreciably more. Any Westerners have opinions pro or con on this idea????

Cheers,
Grumbo

Well, to be honest, last night was the first hockey game that I’ve ever watched. (And, I didn't even watch the whole game, just the last period.) So, I can't really say that I'm a huge Lightning fan. But ya gotta root for the home team, right?! It seemed to me, and again, this is a novice speaking, that both teams seemed to play very well.

Got the information Mickey02. Will be adding it soon. And, speaking of adding new cruisers, when shall I expect to see information from the original Aug. 20th thread started? Huh, Grumbo? ;)
