I'm almost finished with the first edition of the newsletter. I think you'll like the name (and if you don't...oh well!). We've got 4 pages of info!

I'm either going to make it a pdf or HTML for compatibility for everyone.

I am missing information from the Ladies Tea group. Yes, I could look it up, but I don't want to Been working on this too long today. If I don't hear from you, I'll search later this weekend.

Thank you so much Tracy for putting together a newsletter!! I can't wait to read the 1st edition. I don't care what the name is, it is so great to have one. You have my upmost appreciation.

I think the pin idea is great! If we need a design I could ask my art student daughter to draw something. Let me know.

I just went to Staples and mine does not sell the clips for the lanyards. They do sell lanyards with clips on them, but not the clips themselves. If someone finds them, would you please post the store name?

You know I just happened to think of something. They really (the lanyard co.) shouldn't have a problem with bringing the Magic home. And why don't they have a problem with Ship of Fools. There were both a book and movie named Ship of Fools. Of course that was long ago probably even before I was born... you know the last ice age.

We are in the teens again today +18 for the high. Last night was 0. So we kept running the water in the bathrooms upstairs. We had a frozen pipe over the weekend. Luckily it got warm enough for it to thaw out. We weren't taking any chances last night.

Book and movie titles aren't copyrighted. I don't think it's possible to copyright the title of something. That may be why they don't have a problem with Ship of Fools. Maybe that's why?

I did look at the excursions a bit. There is one in Acapulco that looks interesting to me and is doable with an almost 3 year old. ALso one in Cabo. I think we will do Curacao on our own. Not much night life with a toddler.

Unfortunately, I haven't found any sort of "goto" option to go directly to a specific page number. Grumbo has been trying to keep main info back on page 1, and there will be a monthly newsletter summarizing what's going on in terms of planning, etc. First issue is due out next Tuesday.

Are there any specific questions we can try to answer? There's a LOT of chatter between the useful bits of info, but we're all getting to know each other!

I'm almost done, too. Question - how have you shipped this in the past? Canada Post or Purolator/FedEx??? My package is headed for the US.

I've had a good time trying to think of something for everyone in the family, as well as a couple of "gifts" for everyone to share!

It depends on how big the package is. If it's a small package, I use Canada Post. It could take up to a week to arrive though!

If I courier, I use UPS 'cause that's what the company uses

Can't finish mine up tonight since DD is having a few friend out to the Movies and then a lesser amount for a sleepover!

When you go to a specific page, the URL that appears in the "Address" box (of Internet Explorer at least) is like the following:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=560179&page=200&pp=15


If you just type over the number following "page=" you will go directly to that page.

MJ, this is what I was going to tell you. If you click on another page first (other than the first one you go to) and then edit the location to the page you want.

Also, there is lots of information (of the useful sort) in the newsletter which will be released on Tuesday to those who provide me with an e-mail address.

I just received word from the Disney Magic, that it will be aprox. 2-3 weeks before I can hold any venue space onboard for the 08/20/05 voyage.

Yes, food and beverages can be served in Rockin' Bar D. For any food and beverages served in any of our venues, there will be a cost associated with it. I've attached a menu that we offer for the Magic.

Thanks for all your work coordinating this, Mark. Given that it's at 10:00 on a Sunday morning, I don't think any food is necessary. People can order drinks as wanted.
