Oh dear God, The nightmare still lives on!!

I was so busy and was out all day long and my DS had a C-Mas concert tonight and am just relaxing now. Thought i popped in to see what is going on and i wish i hadn't!!

Orientataion was great!! Will go back next Monday.

When you get a electric shock, and go into tranquility, perhaps your DR will let you come back here and you will be able to tell me the truth about who you really are and who is your "friend" is, if he exist. Until then, have a nice therapy!!! BTW, i don't beleive you that Arlene figured it out!! She would have told me by now!! Remember, we sisters sticks together!!!! Anyone interested in exploring the Bravo Town Rafting as an excursion in Acapulco? Anyone have experience white water rafting?

Just looked at that. I see they have Jet boats too. I may opt for that. Its about 45 minutes - an hour outside of Acapulco I see. I couldn't get the Bravo site to come up though so can't see prices.

Some of those tours sound pretty good -- a choice between rafting, snorkeling & Jet skis .....

I have never river rafted before -- but the tour listed on the website says all you need is basic swimming skills...

Wish DCL would start to post some of their excursions so we can compare.

Having been to all of these ports before on a cruise ship I would recommend the cliff divers in Acapulco, however, there are good markets just behind the harbour front road and are excellent for shopping and the local feeling.

Cabo, could be a tender port, and the local sea life is very good, boat trips around the cliffs to see the Dolphins etc is recommended.

Ooh, I'd love to start planning. I even have websites bookmarked. I just don't have the time. We probably won't do much anyway, although, I'd love to see the cliff divers. It is hard with an almost 3 year old in tow.

The sites I've seen place the Bravo Town Rafting between $50 and $70 per person. Not too bad, I guess. It seems like most include transportation to and from the river, a small snack, and lockers to keep a change of clothes and valuables while rafting.

Not sure about the cost of the jet boats but those look fun as well!

Thanks for posting, Barbara! I was going to PM you to make sure your DD was OK - when you posted on Sunday, she wasn't feeling well.

What great guys we married! When I mentioned he could go diving without me, he says he'd rather snorkel somewhere with us than go off to enjoy diving on his own. You're right, though - once the excursions are out, maybe we can encourage them to choose one port to enjoy diving at. I'd feel less guilty if he WERE to go at least once and enjoy himself! I'm sure we "sisters" could find something else to do for a few hours ...
