Hi everyone! We will be joining you on this cruise. We just changed dates. We were supposed to go on the July 12 cruise but my wife and I found out we will be expecting in the spring and wanted to give ourselves a little extra time to makse sure the new baby will be old enough. We normally consider taking a newborn on a cruise but both sets of parents are joining us and they said we shoudl all still go and they would help us out so we could enjoy ourselves as well. It will be me (Brian-36-middle school PE teacher) my DW (Debbie-40) and both of our sets of parents(Kathy and Keith - Al and Rocki).
This will be our third DC but the first DC for our parents.
We decided to get FEs for our parents for their anniversaries and my parents is on Aug 7 so we ardered them already. The problem is we put our ceuise name on for our previously planned cruise. LOL
If we don't have a cruise name yet we coudl always steal theirs The Wildest Cruise in the West. It's a take off from the quote on BTM.

Also - does everyone on here use Facebook? I would be more than happy to set up a page for our cruise on there if people would like. Is everyone interested in a FE? We love them and are hoping to get a good one going.

PS- CBJ HockeyNut. I have to say I am VERY disappointed in your CBJs. You took our favorite coach from here in Milwaukee (Claude Noel) a few years ago and then you didn't give him the head coach job when it opened up and he had done a good job as the interum head coach.

Claude is certainly a character. I think most people liked him but there was a belief that it was time to clean house. Most people liked Hitch too but he lost the room. I have heard that Claude is highly respected around the league and will land a job. There was a rumor that he would swap jobs with the new head coach--don't know what ever happenned to Claude. I think he might have one year left on his deal so he can look around a little bit.

We have never had a top line center and we are a puck moving defenseman short (particularly if the opt to not pick up the arbitration award for Strahlman). I am glad to see the season start but hard to get too fanatical until I see the product on the ice. One of the things about having such a young team is that you are never really sure what the product is going to look like on the ice. All the more true this year with a new coaching staff and strength and conditioning coach.

My travel agent is having her Alaska open house today. Hopefully I will see some good excursion to report back to everyone!

With the heat we are having, I wish we were in Alaska right now.....

We just had our basement flooded with all the storms here in Milwaukee. 7 inches in just over an hour.

Best wishes for getting your basement dried out. We had something similar a few years back with a lot less water than that and it was quite the job to pull out everything that got wet and get it replaced.
