How's everyone's day going??? Nothing exciting here, except for dealing with a useless hotel concierge in Spain (Kim knows what I'm talking about). Still no room assignment or tea ressie... :-( Darren is again waffling about couples choice, so my double spa appointments might be on!!!!! I might just dump him and make him suffer!!! I'm giving him one more day then going to drop it, as I don't think it's fair to keep it held up for someone who might want it!!!!!

Did some sewing today and came to the conclusion that I need to take my serger to the serger doctor. Frustrating.

No return email from the hotel concierge. Not that I expected one.

I'm going to look at my nightly updates, then I think I'll work on Rome!

10 days and I can book my spa time (if there are any left!)!

There's always on-board specials, I suppose...

I made DH sit in front of the computer and look at excursions. I don't think he's done, but at least he's started! I'm requiring him to have a backup to each preference...he's at work the night I can book, and his computers at work can be touchy about the sites they can visit, so I'm going to be doing all the booking....

Kim, I'm sure they're still be reg spa appointments left, it's the villas that are going quick. I wanted to book my solo villa for the first sea day, but the only time left was 6PM, NOT happening, so it's booked for Corsica day. I don't think we're going to use the villa we have booked for the 1st sea day. If you want it let me know and we'll try to coordinate my canceling it.....

OK - so what flights home have you all booked??? What is too early -
Need to book flights and it is either 11:20 or late in the afternoon?? We have to be home on Sunday since Nick starts Middle School on that Monday.

We're flying into Paris on 8/15 from JFK then CDG to BCN on 8/17, then flying home on 8/29, our flight leaves at 11:20. We didn't want to risk leaving on the day we dock, even though there reports people have been able to make earlier flights. We also wanted to spend the day in Barcelona as our flight from Paris arrives 7:30PM on the 17th.

We are also flying into Paris but on 8/13 on Air France. Then on 8/17 we are flying air France to BCN around 8pm. We had some flyer mile points. We have a 1:30pm flight home but it connects in Paris on debarkation day. We could have rushed for the 10 am but at that point if luggage gets delayed at least we are heading home Plus we were lucky enough to upgrade all of our flights to business class so dh really wanted to fly Air France home, not Delta he claims the food is better lol!

I should clarify... our flight to Paris leaves on 8/14 and we land on 8/15. I think the overnight flight confused me....

We're leaving Barcelona at 10:30 am on Sunday. We decided that we didn't want to take a chance on Saturday, since that is the only direct flight that continental offers to Newark. My kids don't start school until after Labor Day.

Yeah, things here are nuts!!!! I met my sister to see Sex and the City 2 today and then go out to lunch. Last night we had DD's spring concert, next week, it's DS's..... Hopefully it will calm down when school gets out!!!!

I have been going through with withdrawal not being on the boards. As with everyone else the end of year activites have been nuts. In the past week DD has been in 3 shows and 1 grade wide presentation.

Very excited my pacsafe bag came in the mail today.
