So I'm hoping to start this trip report tonight, pictures are almost uploaded. But heres some info about the cruise before hand.

We stayed in room 2070 which I found a good location near mid ship elevators. Stateroom Host was Pilar and she was great at taking care of us and the stateroom.

We had second seating dinner, Server was Shantol, Assistant Server was Jessy, and Head Server was Levent. They were all great and the food was bad either. We sat we a family of 5 from NJ as well.

Cruise staff on the cruise was awesome as well. DJ Justin, Tisa, Sheree, Ryan, Chris, Di, Joshua, Lee, etc were all cool.

August 17th, 2012-Friday

So today I woke up around 5:30am, I couldn't sleep in I was excited about going on the Magic. I stayed in bed till about 7:00am though and then got up and had a small breakfast and took a shower and got ready for the day. Dad came home and we got ready to leave, we said bye to my mom and left around 8:30am. We drove to NYC, the drive was good, no traffic so that's a plus. Got to the cruise terminal around 10:00am and parked and took a few pictures

took elevator down and dropped off our bags with porters and then went and check in which was easy. After that we just sat and waited to board the Disney Magic, while sitting there was this guy and his wife sitting a few seats over, they didn't look like the type of people that you would think liked Disney Cruises, more on them later coming.

So boarding started and we go on the Disney Magic. It was before 12:00pm and we were on the ship. We headed up to deck 9 and walked around a little and headed to Topsiders Buffet for lunch. Lunch was great.

After lunch we walked around and took some pictures and videos.

We got some drinks of the day and sat down to drink them and wait till the rooms were ready.

Rooms were ready at 1:30pm, so we headed down to check out the room.

Our friend Michelle left us some B52's which was very very nice of her

So at this time I split up with my dad and I went off to explore and take pictures and stuff.

At 3:00pm headed to the Promenade Lounge for the dismeet and met lots of cool people, some of which I would see around the ship. After that headed back to the stateroom and relaxed and unpacked my clothes. Lifeboat drill was next, we were outside on deck 4, that went fast and then it was up to the Adventures Away party.

Watched most of the party from deck 9, then at the end moved up to deck 10 to watch and so I could watch us sail out as well.

Went back to the stateroom to change into nicer pants and drop some things off then headed up to deck 4 to watch us sail out more. Went in and got a seat for All Aboard! Let The Magic Begin! show, dad joined me. The show was good, show two acts who would be on the cruise Mike Price and John Charles. After the show split up with dad again, but we made plans to meet before dinner and I walked around. Went to Session and listened to the Piano Favorites. Headed to the Promenade Lounge and met up with dad and we headed to dinner. Dinner was at Parrot Cay tonight, we met our Servers who were Shantol and Jessy both really good and head server was Levent, he was good as well. We also met our table mates who were from New Jersey and they were nice. Can't remember what I had, but dinner was good. After dinner went back to the stateroom and then headed back out and went to Rockin' Bar D for Ice Breakers which was cool, after that was Magic Quest which was really funny and then N'Joy played and they were good. Talked to a few disboard people and got a few beers, met DJ Justin tonight as well he was awesome. Left Rockin' Bar D around 12:00am tonight and walked around and took some pictures.

Went up to deck 9 and got some tea and then headed back to the stateroom and dad was in already, drank my tea and passed out for the night.

August 18th, 2012- Saturday

Woke up around 7:15am-7:30am, dad was out getting us drinks, so I got dressed and took a video of the stateroom and also a view from the window and took a picture as well.

Dad came back to the stateroom and we chilled and watched tv for a while, I also took a couple pictures.

We went to topsiders for breakfast which was good today. After breakfast split up with my dad and walked around for a while and I guess went to deck 4 to relax.

The Princesses were in the lobby so I guess I went and saw that.

I guess dad also saw the princesses

and then I guess we walked around and took some pictures.

I think I might have grabbed some lunch and walked around and took some pictures.

I went back to the stateroom at this point and made a vlog

Headed to the Martini Tasting in Sessions and had some Martinis, our one tablemate was there so he joined us, the tasting was good. After the Martini tasting I went and grabbed some ice cream and then I went to Palo for the Art Of The Theme Ship Tour since I had nothing better to do. Ryan was doing the tour today, dad did the tour as well with me. Learned some stuff about the Disney Magic. After that I headed back to the stateroom to take a shower and get ready for formal night. Dad came back to the stateroom and he took a few pictures of me.

I left dad to get ready and I headed up to the Atrium, got a free drink or two at the captain welcome reception. Headed to The Walt Disney Theatre for tonight show which was Twice Charmed, dad met me there and we watch the show which was great. After that we went to Rockin' Bar D to see John Charles family show which dad got a video of.

So we watched John Charles family show and then headed to dinner at Lumiere's which was great once again tonight. After dinner headed to the stateroom to change into my comfy clothes and then I headed to Rockin' Bar D. Saw N'Joy play, they were good. Mike Price was the adult show tonight and he was great, after then got a drink from the bar and hung out in Rockin' Bar D for a while and talked with some people I met, also talked to Resty, server in Rockin' Bar D, he was awesome and knew my drink order after that night. After a while decided to leave and go take pictures around the ship, so said goodnight to Tisa and DJ Justin and left and took pictures around the ship.

Went up to deck 9 to get some tea and then head down to the stateroom. took a picture along the way.

Got to the stateroom and took a picture of it.

Got ready for bed and listened to music and passed out

After being on the Fantasy, how did it feel being on the Magic? Do you prefer one better than the other? How would you compare them?

well I was on the Magic in June as well, for a 2 night that time, but I remember after being on the Fantasy how small I thought the Magic was and in August I thought it was small compared to Fantasy. How would I compare them. Well I don't really. Both as great and have things and like and don't like about them, if you get the chance to go on the Magic I say go, of course if you want from NYC you will have to wait a few years, rumors it might come back in 2014, but that is just rumors

Thanks, I didn't know that....I thought they would have some dates in the future leaving from NYC in 2013.
