Wow braces are expensive! I'm sure glad my kids take after my husbands side of the family as far as teeth go. Only one of the seven of them needed braces. My teeth on the other hand were so bad I had braces twice and they still aren't perfect. Just got the call from the school.... cancelled tomorrow too. Anyone want to take bets on weather they go at all this week? This is their happy dance every time the school calls.

Good News, for my friend Heather and her family they are in WDW and now her son Jacob will not miss tooo many days of school due to the snow!! Do you all have to make up the snow-days @ the end of the year??!!

I want a snow day!!!!!

We got 10" of snow from Sunday evening to Monday night and we didn't even get a delay. I will just add this to the list of reasons why I am not in love with living in Minnesota!

I am so sick of snow...the snowbanks at the end of my driveway are so high that I can't even tell if cars are coming down the road. The worse of it is that our snow will not melt for months. Again...not lovin' Minnesota at this point.

I can not wait to have the dates of the Princess Marathon for 2011 released so that I can have another WDW countdown going!

Schools are closed in Philly for tomorrow. I already can't find my house alarm sign in the lawn and we may get 12-18" more snow tonight into tomorrow

I want a refund from my childrens school. They were out Monday, tomorrow, Friday is an inservice day and Monday is Presidents Day.

I am right there with you. I heard on the radio this am--during my long commute in--that they are shipping in snow for the olympics in Vancouver. Take some of ours please!!!

We are on phase 2 of orthodontia. Already had expanders and other appliances. Now dd has another set of expanders, and some other appliances--all before braces! DD has a very small mouth and lots of crooked teeth. Her teeth are costing us $$$$$

Schools closed tomorrow and for the first time in the 11+ years I have been with my company - they closed! There's just too much snow. Hopefully it will be a slow melt, because if it's not - LOOK OUT!

Our first make-up day is being taken this Friday (was part of Prez Day weekend). Tomorrow's snow day will come off of Spring Break and they'll keep deducting off of that before they'll add any days in June.

LOL, our yard is steep, so I can see from my living room what's coming, but from the street level you cant' see our house anymore over the 12 foot high snow mountain. I laugh and say we have our own private fortress now. I won't be laughing at the end of April when it's still there!

The Mayor of Philadelphia has closed the city for tomorrow and some streets weren't even plowed from the 28+ inches from the last storm.

The Sixers played the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight and it looks like they will be staying in the city of brotherly love for a while

Well so far the snow has missed us this time around, I say as I'm knocking on wood! It is still supposed to snow all day today so we will see what it has in store for us, but last night all we got was ice and rain. We are right on the border line between snow and ice. My husband said just 15 min. up the road from us they were getting hammered with snow. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not that we got the ice instead of more snow. The news station last night said prepare for black outs, yeah that's what I need for my 6th day stuck in this house with my kids! Some people around here have been without power since last Friday. That would suck, luckly my brother in law who only lives 2 doors down has a whole house generator.

Are they from Maryland? I know in my county if the governor declares it a state of emergency then the schools can petition to the board to not have it made up. I wish I was in WDW right now! I was so close to getting in the car last Thursday and driving south, had I known the kids were going to be off for a week I totally would have! The only reason I didn't was because they were supposed to have rain for the first couple of days we would have been down there. I'm kicking myself now!

Very light snow here you can hardly see it falling...The kids could have gone to school and been let out early!!!!!!!!!!!!!
