Although we will likely continue to post on this thread as well, I am posting to say that we have set up a parallel thread, deliberately undated....simply for communication sakes for a number of families who know each other well and we would feel like we were imposing by joining en masse to this well established thread...we do not want to offend anyone and I expect we will want to participate in FE's and other scheduled activities.

However, anyone here is welcome to post on the other thread as well and we truly hope we have not offended anyone.

My 9yo DD will be turning 10 in Sept, and will be starting 5th grade in Sept. She would love to make friends before we cruise. We also have 2 boys, one 12yo and the other 8. I will add her to the kids connect.

I am so looking forward to this cruise!!

Not offended here. I appreciate your honesty. You are all very welcome to post on this thread and we would love for you to be a part of any activity planned.
I personnally only know a couple of people that are on this cruise, but I am looking forward to meeting others and making new friends.
I hope that no one in your group feels unwelcome or out of place here. My thought is the more the merrier.

No went out to dinner on Sat. as a family since Monday nights are hard to celebrate with school and all.. We had a really fun time on Sat. night!!

Yeah I know - today was a "non-event" as far as a holiday goes.... school, work, running off to gymnastics.... at least it was pretty warm today!

It was Monday - that speaks for itself! Not a bad day.... went outside with only a light jacket and imagined it was spring!!! Tomorrow we'll be back in the freezer again, but from I am hearing we'll be in the 60s by the weekend. It's too early to get comfortable yet though - snow blower is on the ready!

Did our pre-cruise ADRs this morning. Got everything we wanted. I'm sure you guys have hit every WDW restaurant - we weren't coming up with any absolute "musts" for this trip. Looking forward to dining on the Dream more than anything. We booked Tony's (MK), Ohana character breakfast, The Wave, and the Spirit of Aloha show. Need to come up with a few choices post-cruise as well.

I am sure we will have more snow. Our snowblower broke, and now we do not have one. Sure hoping, our plow guy still can make it over to plow us out.

Where are you staying pre-cruise? No, more Vero Beach??
Are you doing the meal-plan for your WDW stay?
We decided this time not to do it. I have to say that I have been disappointed the last few times with the food!!

There are hardly any stateroom left available on the cruise--I guess it will be a full ship! I keep trying to move our rooms around, but no luck finding another pair of connecting rooms!

Cold tomorrow, but 50s for the end of the week-- can't complain!
