maybe i can get to target one night this week...i found a dress at Macy's online which i ordered and had 2 day express shipping - hoping it fits and looks right - or need to go shopping for that this week too....ugghhhh can't believe the one i bought last month just isn't right.....oh well - gotta have something last minute to do right:????

As for the goodie bags, I have 24 tic tacs. We can do without them in our bag. I really don't have a chance to run out to a store today. Maybe the airport will have them. I'll check there.

So all I have left to do is 2 loads of laundry, finish packing, clean the house, do my nails, work and tie up loose ends with clients, maybe check on my kids from time to time, LOL! OMG OMG OMG!!!!

I know what you mean about things going too smoothly (I haven't heard for DMIL in a while).

I think I'm all packed and so is DS - now if I can just get DH to pack.

DH came home last night, and mentioned that he took an additional day (monday after we get back from the cruise) off! since we get back on saturday, i figured he'd have sunday to rest up, and it's back to "reality", but i guess he needed longer to recover from this vacation. anyways, so he mentioned that maybe we can take the boys to dl/ca to check out the block party!! you all have to understand that he's not very fond of crowds! nor is he so in love w/disney...(unlike me!!) let's just say, he will "tolerate"...anyways, so it was "great news", that it all came out of his mouth, and not w/any "pushing" from me!! so we might go to dl/ca either on sunday or monday! to catch the block party! whoo hoo!!!!

YEAH to DH for suggesting a trip to DL/CA!! Mine hasn't volunteered to come with us for MANY years
but that is his LOSS!! he just doesn't know what he's missing!!!!
WOW - 5 more days!!!! DS said yesterday that he wished we were already onboard - he's so looking forward to all of this!!! This wk will go SOOOO fast for him though - he's going to be so busy - it will be friday before he knows it and he'll be packing his last minute 'stuff'! Neither of us will sleep all that well that night!!! He had to know how long the flight was - and what time we'd get to port - what time we'd be able to board the ship - what were our plans once onboard......it's so nice to travel with someone as excited as you are!!!

see...i'm always a few steps behind!!! i didn't even realize they had the golden name tags!! i mentioned the name tags, cuz i was in DSs' toyroom, working on their computer...and i happen to see their lanyard hanging, and saw the name tags. (we got them a while back...) oh well...

Susy...as far as i know, we just bring it at 3 (at the dis meet), and put them in the bag that Arlene has. i think she mentioned they're green & has handles. but if your "surprise" is something edible or "loose", might be a good idea to put them into 25 little ziplock bags, or something? that's my take. if i'm wrong, sorry! but like i said, i think that's how it works. who knows! but i know it'll be fun, fun, fun!!!!!!

oh, before i forget! at dl, they have these name tag things, like the ones cms wear, with their names on them? and you can purchase them. maybe some of you already have them, or know what i'm talking about! they're like thick plastic! and it comes in red, w/mickey mouse, and it says "guest of honor" on it, along w/disneyland resort. and you can have them personalize it w/your name! it's really cute! (they also have them in pink, for the girls, and i think they were princess, maybe? didn't pay attention to those much, no need for us...) anyways, they're only $5 each! and they sell them at the gift shop right as you walk out, the gift shop on the left hand side. (not the right hand side one! cuz there's 2 gift shops on your way out). yes, i got our boys one, each w/their names on it. it's hanging/pinned on their lanyard! a cute little souvenir for those who are traveling from far, and need to purchase "something small" for friends/co-workers/whoever back home! or even for yourselves/your children!

hmmm...i've never seen the gold ones. (of course, i wasn't looking for them!)now i have to go check them out! they've got golden anniversary everything for sale!!!!! everything imaginable!!

I know, I loved looking through all the stuff. They didn't have any italian charms yet, but I've been told they are coming. As for my favorite purchase it was the "Then, Now, and Forever" book. What a wonderful book this is, so much information about DL from the thinking stages to now. 180 pages of information.
