We just arrived home from our week-end trip to visit with Laura, Marco and LeiLani, I miss them already. (sniff-sniff) But only a few days until we cruise.

We had a great visit, Laura & Marco also got to meet Jeanne & Marcel. some friends from the Wilderness Lodge FAQ Thread.

We enjoyed dinner Friday night at Cape May Cafe had the Clam Bake Dinner Buffet followed with a shopping trip to DTD. But last night all six of us went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Show great fun.

Before the show we stopped by the Wilderness Lodge for a visit to Territory Lounge, and LeiLani. We were having such a great time we almost forgot about the Show.

OK...OK...so Marcel and I were having a GREAT time and we forgot about the show, but it was Kenny's fault. (Kenny is our favorite server at Territory Lounge)

After our show we did get another quick Hello to LeiLani...she had reservations @ the Hoop-Dee-Doo Show that started just after the show we attended.

Marco had the video camera on the entire evening so I'm sure he will share when they return home.

Laura and Marco recieved an upgrade @ The Beach Club (Water View) with a great balcony.

Laura just called she said they are on the way to China for dinner, and are having a great time.

Hey Beckie!

Glad to hear that everyone is enjoying their vacation. Not long for the rest of us now. It's really fun to hear what everyone is up to, I can picture Laura and Marco strolling around Epcot, and Leilani at the Hoop Dee Doo.

Friday morning I was finally able to pick up our DIS-Meet Banner just before we left for Orlando. I'll try and take a photo sometime today and post it so everyone will know what to look for Saturday.

Good Morning Cruisers!


Im happy to say that I am almost completely packed! (I leave Wed though for the World first)

I had to go buy one more extremely large suitcase! (all the various shoes are killing me!) So I have three large suitcases, two medium ones, three carryon's and three backpacks for four people! And I thought I packed light!!! This three days before at DIsney is killing me too! (But I will suffer thru it!)


Im cleaning house today so I dont have to come home to a messy house! And then I just have to find something to occupy us tomorrow!


My kids are bouncing off the walls...they are so excited! (ok...me too!)

Louise, I think that is great that Ben has been practicing Italian for Laura .

Have a great time at WDW Donna/Firstmickey. I know what you mean about shoes, it's getting a little ridiculous the number I have to pack .

Beckie, it sounds like you had a great time with Laura, Marco and LeiLani. I'm looking forward to meeting everybody Saturday.

I've been making our stateroom door magnets. Well, I started the idea and DH sort of took over (he's better with graphics and photoshop ). Maybe that's why I "started" it and let him finish .

Actually made a positive step towards packing. Worked out what everyone needs to take, just got to get it all clean now. So I have laundry coming out of my ears at the moment.

Fortunately Ben is at a day camp this week, so I have a few hours each day to think straight. Plus I'll be able to hide his presents in the bags. There is a pirate theme, I've got him a pirate Mickey and Pluto (which are fab, Mickey as Jack Sparrow) and also a pirate ship to play with. I'm have a few bits to decorate the stateroom with so I shall be sneaking down when the rooms open up.

Stressing about the flying a bit, and the weather. Ben told me I needed to see a psychiatrist, I kid you not. He's probably right!!!

Everyone that will be visiting WDW Pre-Cruise please call Laura and Marco when you arrive. I have left your Reminderbands bracelets with Laura so you will have them for Saturday morning. That way we will be able to recognize each other at the Port. LeiLani and family already have theirs.

Tia/Donna and Louise I will have your families bracelets at the Radisson this Friday Night.

For everyone arriving at the Port Saturday morning just look for a bracelet simular to the one in the photo below: It will be one of us in the group.

Hello! Just got back from Gainesville so now I have to really pick up the pace to get everything done by Friday morning. Beckie, I thought about you as I drove thru Jacksonville, wow it has changed!! Sounds like everyone is ready to go! Louise, I gotta tell you, I share your fear of flying. I booked a direct flight but the closer it gets the more nervous I get. I HATE to fly. DH and DS both like it. Oh well, I can't wait to meet everyone on Saturday. -Donna

Tia, we used to live in New Bern. We moved to Raleigh last year (August to be exact). I miss New Bern a lot! Jacksonville was only about a 30 min drive. To bad we both moved

I have started getting everything together for packing. I made my "last minute" trip to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of things I forgot to get previously. I have finished making all my door signs on the computer and are now printing them out as I type this post. I have a couple of little things that Im doing by hand for our door but will finish those up tonight.

We are so excited around here. I think once I actually start putting clothes into our suitcases it will really hit! But for right now, Im trying to stay cool! (Yeah right! )

I did manage to get some packing done but I haven't finished it. I took a break from packing to take my dog to the vet to get his bordatella (sp?) vaccine so I can board him on Thursday. I put him in the back seat and put my stuff in the front seat and by the time I walked around to get in the car the dog had jumped into the passenger seat and stepped on my keys....locking himself and the keys in the hot car! The only other set of keys were with my DH at work. $62 later, he was out of the car and we were on our way! He was fine and he did get his shot. Pets...ya gotta love 'em but they will make you crazy. Sugarplums, I have been to New Bern.
I loved Raleigh, so much shopping! Out where we lived was a little to far away from civilization. Maybe I chose the wrong town! -Donna

Well its been fun talking to everyone since May . Today is last day of work and then up at 3:00am coffee till 4:00 and then get the kids up and in the car and off to airport. Should be in Grand Floridian by 10:00AM See you all on Saturday.
Oh and the weather for every stop looks perfect.If you like hot and humid and Sunny
Only one area of intrest a low pressure 1074 miles east of the lesser antilles. It'll take 2 to 3 days just to reach Caribbean Ocean.

And now the sad part. Did anybody realize that the next time you post on our board the trip will be over Oh well we will just have to start planning the next one and well have a whole year or 2 to talk about it.
