We are planning a trip to disney for our anniversary in Aug 2007 staying at the AKL. Now we've never stayed at the AKL before or ever been to disney for our anniversary. Next yrs trip is supposed to make up for our anniversary for this yr since DH is in Iraq. Now, heres my thing. I would LOVE to go to disney for xmas during the 1st 2 weeks of december. But instead of staying at the AKL we would stay at the GF. Now we have stayed at GF before, but never been to disney for xmas. I dont wanna miss out on the celebration next yr but this maybe my only shot to go to disney for xmas or I could end up waiting a few yrs, like 3 - 5 yrs or more from 2007 to go to disney for xmas. So in your honest opinion, when do you think we should go? Aug 2007 for our anniversary and for the new celebration or in Dec 2007 for xmas? We missed out on the 50th anniversary celebration so thats why I really dont wanna miss next years a year of a million dreams.

i just got back from going in august and loved it! crowds were great, weather was hot but bearable (except for animal kingdom, hottest park) it was really a great time and will definately go back the same time next year

Without a doubt Christmas! WDW is so magical during the holidays. It's my favorite time to go!

:cool1: My DW and I already have reservations for the first 2 weeks of Dec.
2007!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc This willbe our fifth trip this time of year and
we just LOVE it !!!! Decorations, MVMCP , Candlelight Processional,Christmas
music, Santa in the parks, lower crowds & temps !!!!! Did I forget anything ??!!!!!!!!! Did I mention we LOVE this time of year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted for December. I'm not a big fan of the xmas stuff, but if you are, great! The year of a million dreams starts in October.

Christmas time by all means. The park decorations are so beautiful and the weather, in my estimation, is better. Less chance of rain and much cooler.
Please thank your husband for serving our country for us.

Early December is the best time since the Christmas crowds haven't arrived. August is too hot and Christmas time is too crowded for my taste.
