Why did I knot know you were at the 50th anniversary Disneyland event!?! So was I!!

Sorry, I'm just having a moment. I am sad I have have not had an opportunity to see you any of y'all (yet)! And we were in the same place (in a general sense)!

I was there for DL 50th anniversary.

We stood in line in California Adventure to be sure we would be able to get into the park that day.

We also stood in the line for the pin because my son really wanted that pin.
That made for a long day.

Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

I wasnt at Disneyland's 50th anniversary.

I was at the press event held in Walt Disney World.

We watched the event on huge TV screens.

Sorry for any confusion.

Ah, so YOU were one of the nutjobs that spent the night in DCA in order to get inside Disneyland first thing in the morning. I, having lots of sense knowing I had a nice bed to sleep on at the Grand Californian, got out of the hotel around 6am to see the swarm of humanity coming towards me from the tram stop. :rotfl2:

I was standing halfway between the monorail beam and the turnstiles when I saw all you crazy DCA people stroll through to the entrance. The best part was that Disneyland was the least crowded that day because half the people who spent the night (just to get the pin, I believe) left early to crash.

I had front row "seats" on the ground for the second seating of Fantasmic. It was awesome.

We stayed in the Granda CAlifornian as well. It was a smart move, we made those plans in Ja. not knowing what was going to happen, event-wise.
