i would like to make an autographbook for my son. Any suggestions?

Also we are trying to get my stepson to go with us. He is 8.

You can buy an inexpensive journal and recover the front. Or you can make an autograph book and have it wire bound at a local copy store (i.e., Kinkos). Or if you want, I could purchase one for you at Disneyland and mail it to you.

I would suggest putting together a small goodie bag and sneaking into the cabin before your son(s) get in there. The "Mickey and Minnie left a surprise for you in the cabin" look of awe is priceless!

Okay, if anyone needs anything (small) from Disneyland, I volunteer to go shopping for you on one of our next trips (we go about every two weeks). I can send it to you in advance so you can have it all wrapped / organized for the cruise.

Here's what I got from someone's post today. I'm a big diet soda drinker and have taken my own on our previous cruises so this would be great news!

"Beginning June 12 on the Disney Magic® and June 13 on the Disney Wonder®, AAA/CAA Travel
will receive a new member benefit. Clients who purchase a Disney Cruise will receive an onboard
credit good toward merchandise, spa treatments, shore excursions and other onboard activities. This
benefit replaces the complimentary soda program, which will now be available to all Guests at the
24-hour beverage station on Deck 9 Aft and during meal hours at Topsider Buffet/Beach Blanket Buffet.
Complimentary sodas will also be available on Castaway Cay at Cookie’s Bar-B-Q and the adult-only
beach, Serenity Bay. Sodas will remain complimentary in full-service dining rooms."

I made our final payment today at AAA. We made out pretty good. They gave us $100 off our fnal payment because we transfered our reservations during their cruise promo month, and since Disney has soda for free for everyone, AAA is giving stateroom credits. We got an additional $150 credit on top of the $400 credit we got when we booked on board last year.

So already we are up $550 to spend!! I figure with me and DH thats at least 3 days worth of Bingo.

Hi All,
I made final payment about two weeks ago. I have been checking my reservation every day since, thinking they would have assigned my room #. Not yet, still says Cat 11 GTY. Maybe we will be lucky and get an upgrade.

Thank you for the San Juan excursion information. I am planning on doing the Rainforest one that goes to the falls.

Little League and school end this week for us. Hoping this summer will be less stressful than this spring has been.

YIPPEE! I hit the 60 day mark. :thewave:

It's hard to believe how close we are getting to the 60 day out mark until the cruise. Two months from tomorrow we will be on the plane headed for Florida, we'll be down there waiting for you to come down and join us, those of you that aren't going down a week early that is, not that I am rubbing it in or anything.

i got all the color of the disny paint samples today at home depot. I'm going to scan them later.

Man I can't wait to go. Me and the boys went to the pool this afternoon and practice snorkling and diving for fish.

I just talked to my agent at AAA, we are also getting a $150 onboard credit to replace the free soda mugs!!!

My wife spoke with Debbie and we are now all set with the REAS. package and PLA rotation with Palo on Wed. evening. Now she must do some heavy arm twisting to get me to do the couples massage

has anyone ever NOT dined in the dining rooms at all for dinners? I am trying to figure out how in the world I will get 3 kids presentable for main dining rooms, and why I would want to, when Topsiders is faster, quieter, and just as good. Except, of course, for Lobster night!!! How would I handle tipping the servers??

Although we don't have 3 kids to get ready for dinner (just two) I think eating in the dining room is part of the charm of a cruise. It gives the kids a chance to practice their less than perfect table manners.

I was thinking more towards a Sunday afternoon meet at the Promenade Lounge. How does 3pm sound to those who would be interested in a onboard DISmeet? Just throwing this out for consideration.
