The ADR window opened this week for the first day of our Disney honeymoon this August -- we'll be at POFQ for four nights, heading to Port Canaveral for our cruise and then back on property for two more nights.

We opted for Moderates so we could use more of our savings for "experiences" like dining, but are still not trying to break the bank (only a couple of "splurge" meals, so to speak). First-time AP holders but also planning on getting a Tables in Wonderland card on our first day -- some quick math tells me that we'll be able to break even on this trip alone.

Here's what I've got lined up so far -- any recommendations or changes? FWIW, we've been to Disney three times since we started dating back in 2011, and I expect that frequency to increase quite a bit in the future, so we're becoming relatively "experienced" at this and have done our research, but now it's time for the experts to weigh in. :)

Day 1 (arrival mid-morning) - Resort day
  • Lunch - Sassagoula Floatworks (POFQ)
  • Afternoon touring Disney Springs
  • Dinner - Disney Springs...somewhere? (Was interested in Fulton's but there's no guarantee they'll be reopened by then and ADRs aren't available via MDE right now anyway.)
  • Nightcap - Scat Cat's Club (POFQ)
Day 2 - Epcot day (morning EMH)
  • Breakfast - Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles
  • Lunch - Via Napoli (ADR)
  • Dinner - La Hacienda de San Angel (Illuminations view, fingers crossed!) (ADR)
Day 3 - Magic Kingdom day
  • Breakfast - Kona Cafe (Polynesian) (ADR)
  • Lunch - Columbia Harbour House (Keys to the Kingdom Tour)
  • Pre-dinner drinks - Mizner's Lounge (mostly for the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra)
  • Dinner - The Wave... (Contemporary) (ADR) (then back to MK until closing most likely)
Day 4 - "Floating" day (AK - morning EMH)
  • Breakfast - Riverside Mill (POR)
  • Lunch - ??? (will likely be doing AK in the morning to take advantage of EMH and using FP+ for DHS in the afternoon before going back to the hotel to change for dinner, but I'm not sure if that's logistically practical or even wise)
  • Dinner - Yachtsman Steakhouse (YC) (ADR) (then into Epcot for Illuminations again most likely)
Day 5 - Cruise departure day
  • Breakfast - Grand Floridian Cafe (checking out of POFQ, then stowing our bags at GF so we can get a few more hours in at MK until our Uber to Port Canaveral) (ADR)
Day 6 - Cruise return day - Epcot
  • Lunch - Coral Reef (ADR)
  • Dinner - Tokyo Dining (we went here for NYE and unfortunately rushed through dinner to get a spot outside for Illuminations -- had an incredible experience and want to give it the time and attention it deserves this time) (ADR)
Day 7 - Magic Kingdom day
  • Breakfast - Pepper Market (CS)
  • Lunch - either The Plaza or Skipper Canteen (ADR?)
  • Dinner and drinks - Trader Sam's (Polynesian)
Day 8 - Final departure day
  • Not going to make any ADRs on this day to give us maximum flexibility if there's a part we want to hit up one last time before we leave, unless there's any other "must do" breakfast/lunch that you recommend that we haven't accounted for up here...
