What a beautiful space to work in!!!!
THank you Oopsi! I love it!
I am totally in love with your space. I am trying to reorganize mine slowly. Love all the personal touches.
Thank you Chiara! I love spending time up there now... it really helps that everything is organized rather than piles all over, like it was.
Just joining in a little late. The bags are so adorable!!! Your sewing room is coming along well. Wish I had some sewing skills.
Welcome!!! And thank you!

It's never too late to learn to sew - I've only been sewing for less than 2 years.

It just takes a bit of time and patience.
I would love to have such a cute sewing room! I'm happy I got to make a small contribution to your shelf
The thread looks so pretty on display! Love the colors!
Thanks Stephanie! Yes, you did contribute to my shelf! I will use it one day for it's intended purpose... Gotta wait for the girls to finish eating the Pez.
Great pics of the meet! Looks like you all had a blast. Glad you got to go see Rachel and have a your own private concern afterwards!
Have you ever tried water with limes or sweet tea with lime? I'm hooked on limes now!
Yes - we had a fantastic time!!! I wish we could all do it again!
I have tried with lime... It's good - but I do prefer lemons. I don't think our sweet tea is the same up here as it is down south - it was part of my mission to try it while in Charlotte, and it just never happened.
Oh what a fun dismeet! Your sewing room looks amazing! Their is a tutorial on gymbofriends for the shorts. These are what they look like though. EE would live in them if I let her. They are crazy expensive through MJ and some other clothing boutiques that make them. This was the cheapo version where you whack off the legs cut them into strips and put those on elastic to "ruffle" them and then attach them to the shorts.
Thanks!! Those shorts are adorable!!! I wish V would wear something like that - but it's a bit young for her.
I finished my bag yesterday... I was up there ALL day, but it was a good day and I felt like I made a lot of progress. I have the wallet quilted, I just need to applique it and assemble it. I will be done by Friday afternoon. Which leaves me the weekend for a special project.
I talked to the girls, and we have decided not to do an ADR for our last morning at Disney. Just like I thought, we will sleep in a little, pack up our room, check out right at 11, store our bags, have some lunch and enjoy the resort for a little while, change into our travel clothes (ahem- pajamas), then wait for ME. IF we have time - we might decide to have lunch at Riverside?
Also, if Josh is in a good mood tonight, the girls and I decided that we would get serious about asking his permission for this trip. I now have enough $$ saved for our deposit, we have major fingers crossed for FD. Once we get official permission, I can start doing all of our planning spreadsheets, and working on our Mini-Planner.
I have to work at Target today... So, no sewing room.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
