Anyone have one they like, I'm thinking about joining www.audible.com . You can download 2 books a month for $20. I've found that I get a lot more reading done nowdays if I do it in the car. I also have a long road trip in a couple of weeks so timing would be good. I usually get books from the library but they have a pretty limited selection.

Anyone belong to this or know of another way to do audio books that is a good deal? I want something that has lots of unabridged books, I don't like the abridged versions.

TIA!

I've belonged to audio.com for over 2 years now and I just love it. They have quite a number of unabridged books and you can even do a search for only unabridged versions.

I have even carried my Otis (portable player) to WDW and listened to books on tape while waiting in lines.

I don't belong to a club, but I get all my books on tape at the library. They have a huge selection. I always listen to them in the car. Cracker Barrel also has a program where you buy the book at the store and then return it to another store. I have never used it before, but I have seen other people mention it.

DH belongs to audible.com.... but he has suspended his subscription for the time being... he wasn't able to keep up with downloading/listening to all of the books he was getting. But he mostly got the subscription so he could hear CarTalk. We have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of that. ................P
