But if it's a low ridership moment, they won't have it. Nor will you need it.
Grizzly was at 5 minute waits last week, so they didn't have the single rider option. And as a single rider you're just stuck in a raft with strangers anyway, so it's the same thing (I love the families I've met on that ride, they are so fun!).
I love the Soarin' option, but you get the strangest looks from people. YOu pass by everyone, and they glare, and then you're held back at the front of the line while they board the standbys and you get pitying looks from people who think you did something wrong. Then you're sat next to them in a free spot.
And the Screamin' option is excellent, though they did a really wrong thing when hubby was in the SR line last week. Basically the SR line was getting really long, too long. So they took all of the people in that line (you are lined up on the opposite side of the boarding platform as the regular line), told them to stick to their spots (one kid didn't and ran to the front), and had them get in an elevator, go up a level, walk in their line on the walkway/line above the tracks, get in another elevator and down. They were then in a holding pen on the normal boarding side.
And then the CM ignored them for at least 10 minutes. In the meantime, new people got into the SR line and were boarded BEFORE my hubby's group, b/c the CM was ignoring them. They finally had to say something to the CM to get him to pay attention.
I will still use the SR line for Screamin' (DS is 41.5 inches so we won't be going as a family for a long time to come!) but if I'm shuttled over to the other side like that, I'll be proactive with the CM and not let the group get ignored!
