Attractions near Hyatt Huntington Beach

We will be going to Calif in March. Staying 5 days at Disney and 2 at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. I was wondering if there is anything fun to do that is in walking distance or maybe a short cab ride. It will be me my hubby and my 9 year old son. I saw that in Dana Point you can do 2 hour whale watching trips but thats about 40 mins away and the cab cost would be way to much. Does anyone know if anyone offers something like that closer to or in Huntington Beach?
