OK - this has probably been posted several times here before but wondering what types of rides I will be able to take a 1 year old on???? Also - is there somewhere that lists height restrictions for all attractions?? I was searching for it but having trouble finding anything! THANKS!

You can take a baby on anything without a height restriction. We've taken our DD twice to DL and she loved It's a Small World, Jungle Cruise, Pooh, actually she loved pretty much everything but especially IASW! Sorry, I don't know where you can find a list of height restrictions! Have a great trip! We're taking our 9 month old in a couple of weeks and I can't wait!!!

We are taking our 1 year old in 8 days!!! (she actually just turned 18 months today!) We've taken her when she was 4 months old and she went on EVERYTHING without a height restriction..including POTC, JUNGLE CRUISE, IASW, MAELSTROM, etc. THERE IS SO MUCH YOUR ONE YEAR OLD CAN GO ON! NO WORRIES!!!!!! :thumbsup2

my dd's first disney trip was when she was 15 months old and she loved it!!! she adored all of the characters, gave them all huge hugs. she loved the pooh ride, jungle cruise, its a small world (had to go on that a few times), the flying carpets, and the ones mentioned above. she did kinda freak out on pirates and the haunted mansion, so i wouldnt recommend those.

my son went on his first disney trip at 7.5 months and he enjoyed every ride he went on. he will be about 18 months on his next trip and i cannot wait to see what he thinks of it all now.

We're going with my 18 month old next month....will he be able to ride Buzz Lightyear?

Yep! Our DD went on Buzz at DL and seemed to really like it - all the colors and stuff.

It's a Small World
It's a Small World
It's a Small World

Did I mention... It's a Small World??

All kidding aside, I think I've been on that ride about a million times with my kids!

Any attraction that gives you a nice ride will work for a little one!

My kids didn't like Peter Pan (dark and flying over the city freaked them out), Snow White, It's a bug's life.

Here's what they liked at 11 & 16 months:
MK
Pooh, Teacups, It's a Small World, Dumbo, Bear Country Jamboree, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's Flying carpets, Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents (O.K. that one is my favorite... great place for the kids to take a nap because it is dark-- 20 minutes of rest for Mom and tyke :thumbsup2 ), Tom Sawyer's Island, Train around the park, Transit authority (people mover), Buzz, Cars, Carousel of Progress (o.k. that's another one of my favorites -- 15 minutes of rest of Mom and tyke).

Epcot
Nemo, Crush, Living with the land, Imagination ride plus the cool hands on stuff after the ride, Spaceship earth, the World Showcase expecially Maelstrom and the acts in front of the pavillions. Don't miss the Japanese lady who does the candy animals.

AK
Kilimanjaro Safari, Walk the trails, train to Rafiki's conservation center, boneyard, dumbo type ride that uses dinosaurs (forgot the name), Camp Minnie & Mickey (shows and the characters)

MGM
Playhouse Disney, Honey I Shrunk the Kids play set, the Great Movie Ride (watch the Alien part-- scary), I can't think of anything else.

Hope this was helpful!
Good luck!

We went in 2005, when my youngest daughter was 11 and half months!
We had a great time. She enjoyed many rides, unfortunately It's a small world was closed. Can't wait to ride it in May!!! She sat up in her stroller taking everything in. We have a video of her talking to a group of ducks in the Magic Kingdom, the ducks gathered around her stroller and she was so excited!! You'll Love it, so will your little one! Have Fun.

Have fun! I went the first time when my daughter was 2.5 months old. I was surprised how much I could do. We're headed back soon and she's 8 months old.
