Attraction Tix Ultimate tickets

Today I've purchased 2 ultimate tickets from Attraction Tix. I've received a voucher via email with a reservation number and a note on it saying I can link the ticket to My Disney Experience account using the reservation number.

I've tried and I get this error message:

The ID number must contain 10, 12, 17, 18 or 20 digits; please try again

I've asked to Attraction tix why this error, and they replied that I can book FP+ 30 days in advance. Of course this is not true, so I enquired again and this time they answered:

The reference you need wont be available until 30 days before or 60 days if you are an onsite disney hotel guest

This is different from what it's written on the voucher they sent and different from what I know about tickets: I should be able to link them immediately, regardless of the time of arrival.
So I'm getting nervous. What should I do?

Someone else on here has posted a similar experience with Virgin Holidays, so I wouldn't be overly concerned.

I wonder if this is similar to when you book a flight through a travel agent rather than direct with an airline. Basically, when you book a flight through a travel agent, you can't link the booking online until the travel agent actually "issue" the ticket. So you get a booking reference, your place is reserved, but you can't do anything till the TA "issues" the ticket. I never really understood why this was the case (or what the "issuing" bit actually does). I assume it has something to do with the fact the travel agent can hold on to the money longer (and get interest on the funds) and only have to hand it over to the airline at the point they issue the ticket. This could be the same for disney tickets?? i.e. you can't link them online until such time the travel agent actually issue the tickets. I'm just guessing here though!!

This would worry me. I'm not thinking they are trying to cheat me, but what would happen if they close before the end of the year?

That's very true. Though, unless you book direct, that will always be a risk (however small). On the plus side, if you've paid by credit card, then you don't need to worry. If they fold, your credit card company is jointly liable (and must refund you).

Any company who sends phisical tickets instead of vouchers?

Or buying directly from Disney, is it possible to link the tickets before the 60 days mark?
Last year I got a 5% cashback from Quidco, but the I had problems linking them to MDE. However it was in the testing rollout for MDE, so it might be fixed now. Anyone has a recent experience with this?
Thanks

Not sure what you mean? If you're talking about your credit card company's liability, then yes, it applies to any goods / services. If you mean the risk factor, then yes also, as until you physically have your hands on the goods, there is always a slight risk.

Yes, it is possible to link tickets earlier if they've been bought directly through Disney. I'm booked for October 2015 and my 21-Day Ultimate tickets show up in MDE. However, they are just sitting there and I can't do anything with them until the 60 day mark.

Hope that helps.

Undercover Tourist sends physical tickets rather than vouchers. They ship from a regional office in Scotland, so delivery is very quick. Their tickets link immediately to MDE. However, they sell US tickets rather than UK ones, so 10 days is the maximum ticket length.
