Even with slight changes to my favorite attractions, I'm never disappointed. Call me crazy, but I trust what Disney is gonna do! There are some rides I can't imagine (besides basic maintenance) them touching, like Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, most everything Fantasyland. But if there were never any changes to our favorites, we'd never have new favorites and Disney World could never reinvent itself.


But they better never touch Splash Mountain.

Winnie the Pooh (only for imagineering reasons - I could see too much of the inner workings...needs more "mask"),

I don't remember seeing too much on Pooh, but I've only ridden once.

Interesting point about "mask". As a guest, I DO NOT want to see what I'm not supposed to. Last time at Haunted Mansion while waiting to enter by the graves (left side with Leota) I could the warehouse-like side of the the attraction building. This could easily be fixed with a bush or shrub or something.

Part of what makes attractions like Pirates, Splash, and Mansion so great is that you can't see beyond the entrance to get any sort of idea of the size of the ride.
I rode Splash for the first time in April and was very surprised at how big it was and how many parts there were besides the big drop everyone can see.

as long as it's subtle stuff like improving the animatronics and sound system.

I would like to amend that this needs to be true everywhere, and at on almost constant basis. If you can improve the experience without the guest knowing exactly what has been changed (say, slightly more realistic motions in an animatronic character in a ride), then I am all for it.

I know it's a classic and many will disagree but I would like to see a refurb done on the Country Bears.
My kids hated it, they were expecting to see the same type of country bears as in the movie and were highly disappointed.

Star Tours definitely needs an update. The small screen in front. Yuk. I was on the Star Trek experience in Las Vegas. And the part of the ride that is like Star Tours is so much better. Their are windows not only in front, but on the ceiling and the screen is a giant Imax. It really feels like your flying in space.
