please tell me the "must do or must see" attractions in all 4 Disney parks, and what shouldn't I get fast passes for? I am traveling with teens! Have not be been there since they were small! Thanks!!
Thank you I will check it out!FP recommendations by park can be found in the FP FAQ, Post #8. The direct link is in my signature below under "Priorities & Tiers".
Ok thanks for the tipsEveryone has different likes and dislikes. No one of us can tell you what you will love. PP stated their wife loves Small World, we hate it.
I would continue to research on your own and ask specific questions you identify.
Thank you so much! I will look into these!MK I would get FPs for: 7 dwarfs mine train if you won't be there at rope drop, Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan's flight or Winnie the Pooh rideor just skip those. Also you could consider getting FPs for anything you might want to ride twice. I usually go to one park in the morning and use my FPs in the afternoon for a different park.
EPCOT I would get Frozen ever after if possible (use to be Malestrom), after that either Test Track or Soarin - I think you can only pick one of these three because of the tiered system. I usually go to Test Track at rope drop then Soarin. The other attractions to pick from are not as popular but you will get on faster than without a FP. You can get a FP for the character meet and greet here if you want to do that.
HS I would get: RnRC, Toy Story, ToT - they also have a tiered system so you can't get all three.
AK I would get: one of the Pandora rides if you will be there when they are open, Safari ride, Expedition Everest, or Dinosaur. I think they have tiers here now also.
Thank you! There's so many different strategies. Some people FP the their favourite/or most anticipated rides. Some FP the rides which they know get the longest lines. Some FP based on their touring plan (where they'll be etc). Some people like to use their FP's reasonably early so they can get 4th/5th later on, Others prefer to leave their FP's later in the day.
I think it's best to come up with your basic plan first. Then write a list of your must do rides, then go from there.
Thank you!!I view it differently - what won't I wait in line for without a Fast Pass (other than the first ride of the day at rope drop). For me - in MK - my first three Fast Passes come from this group: The Dwarves Train (ridiculously long), Buzz (loud and claustrophobic line area), Splash Mountain (claustrophobia again),Big Thunder (just because if I hike over to Splash, I an going to do this one) and Peter Pan (sooo long). I would add Space Mountain - but I don't ride that one. All other rides have fast passes that are easily obtained later in the day, so I wouldn't start out with those.
In HS - Toy Story gets my tiered fast pass. The others I don't care about.
In Epcot - It used to be Test Track, but we hate the remake and don't ride it anymore. That leaves Frozen - a ride which should never be ridden without a Fast Pass. My husband gets Soarin' instead of Frozen. My daughters and I just don't get that ride.
AK - we don't go to.

Great idea thanks! The FP FAQs will help you out on that end. As far as the attractions that are "must-dos" that will vary from person to person. I've got elementary-aged kids so our list is probably going to be different than yours with teens. My advice is to spend an afternoon with YouTube. Pull up videos of the attractions you are unfamiliar with and watch the videos. I hate the spoiler-effect this causes so what I do is watch the first two seconds or so, skip to watch two seconds in the middle and then two seconds near the end. That way I still don't know what the ride/show will really be like but I have an idea if it will be of interest to my family.
