Attraction Assistance pass

Hello,
We are headed to the parks in a few weeks and excited to share the experience with a good friend. She has a disability pass at Disney and I will need to get her one for Universal. Any suggestions or tips? Is is better to pay for an upgraded resort? They aren't available our first night there so I'm debating moving from hotel to hotel each night to get her an express pass vs Attraction assistance pass. Thanks

We have used DAS in all of its evolutions with our son since 2008 at Disney, and have used the AAP at Universal as well. Personally we feel it is worth it to upgrade to one of the hotels with included EP at Universal - you get the EP on day of check in through day of check out, so sometimes we have spent the first night at another hotel without EP and then moved to the upgraded hotel the next morning, you can get your EP there before the parks open and you're all set! The AAP works very similar to the DAS but with EP we just have mostly just used the AAP for Hagrid. In June when we went, Hagrid was on VQ so we didn't even get an AAP for that trip.
