I've been trying to post a trip report. The first two times it did not work. I waited about 1/2 an hour and tried again. I got a message that said,

"This is a duplicate post that you have tried to post within the past 5 minutes."

I'm frusturated. What's going on? I can't find my threads anywhere!

This is a common problem and there is a thread about it somewhere, I think on the Technical board. It happened to me too!

To solve the problem is pretty easy. Do your post again but with a VERY short subject like just one word and then once it's posted, go and edit the subject line to what you actually want it to say.

It works!

Had the same problem. Took a couple days for me to be able to post on the trip board about my trip. Keep trying and save what you typed!

I'm having the same problem. It's been like that for 3 days now. I e-mailed the webmaster, but haven't gotten a reply. I'm curious how scanne was able to start this thread. I am able to reply to existing threads, but can't start a new one.

It's a bug. It has to do with the length of your subject line. Just try again with a VERY short subject line and then once your posts successfully posts, go in and edit your subject line to say what you want it to say.

It really will work.

please when you are having a problem.....just notify me and I will try to find the answer to problems or find HELP.........yes I had the same problem a few weeks ago........I tend to make a big big subject line......I have A BIG MOUTH.......

Hey all. I took Beatty's advice and was able to post the first part of my report. (Halloween Surprise Day 1). I have not had the time to get any more done. Hopefully this weekend...
