I wish I would have known this an hour ago when I booked my flight--I could have waited another day or two.

For many years now about the time I book our flights the rates drop... so for the past 2 years I have purchased 3 out of 4 tickets. if the price drops I change those 3 out for credit and pick up the 4th one with the left over credits. If the price goes up I'm only stuck buying one fat ticket price. My hubby says I squeak.

Unfortunately my powers don't seem to extend to PIN codes. However, they do work for the stock market. You should buy any stock that I am about to sell, and sell any stock I am about to buy. Also, don't ever get behind me in a checkout line. That's a guarantee that you will be picking the slowest line.

That's a pretty good strategy. I end up just adjusting the flights for a credit. Then I have a great excuse to make another trip.

I waited until a few weeks before our recent trip to book our flights - kept waiting for a DING to come out - nothing. Then I realized why - they didn't need to discount the rates any further. Both flights round trip were 100% full!

I just booked my flight for August, this morning it was $136 per ticket and tonight it dropped to $109!!!!! That was without a Ding special. Check again!!

checked again for May 21-28 leaving OKC & the best I could get was $129 down
& $119 back but the departure times are horrible

Unfortunately, or fortunately I don't know which, it came true for my flight.

Thanks for posting. I had checked this morning and the CMH to MCO fare was still $115. After I saw your post tonight, I checked again and it had dropped to $77. When I booked this weekend, I just knew this would happen. But fares on dates close to ours had increased in the past couple weeks and I was getting nervous ours would too. Oh well... at least I have a credit to use.

I checked my flights this morning and...nothin'. Checked again after lunch and my departure flight went from $107 to $77!!!!! Just what I've been waiting for. Something.

Hi. Originally booked our flights at $122 bdl to mco in April. One segment down to $109. I remember last year they were like $89. Checked LGA for our dates and $89 and $84. Really expensive to park in LGA like $20/day vs. BDL. Here's hoping for a ding. Love BDL and SW personnel there. Always accomodating. Not sure on the rates though!! Maybe it's competition with AirTran that they have lowered them, but us regulars would sure like that $89 fare. Pixie dust please.
