Attire for California grill and Narcoossee's

My friend and I have decided to use some table service credits during my birthday trip to dine at California Grill and Narcoossee's . I have not eaten at either of these restaurants before, so I'm unsure what is "acceptable attire". I'm assuming no jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tank tops. I wondered if khaki capris would be OK or if we need to wear dresses. Thanks for any advice you can offer .

Here is the official dress code from the Disney website

Dress Code Guidelines:
Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts. Sport coats are optional.
Ladies: Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.

Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing. While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.

So you would be completely fine in capris.

We right to Cali Grill right from the park so we wore jeans (Capris for me, shorts for DH) and tops that I had sleeves. And sneakers. Didn't have a problem... and saw lots of other peopel dressed similiarly.

I've always done capris/cute shirt or blouse & my husband has done dockers/golf shirt & we are usually in the middle of everone else. You'll see some really casual people (def not up to standard) & a handful in dresses so either way you should be fine. Relax & enjoy!!

We have been a couple of times,
I wore summer style skirt (to the knee) with matching sleeveless shirt and matching over shirt which I was glad as it was very cool where we were sitting, and sandals. DH wore Dockers, golf style shirt and deck shoes. on another visit, I had on dockers long walking shorts, and polo shirt and sandals, DH docker shorts, polo and deck shoes. If you stay with something along these lines you will be comfortable and look great.

on a side note we always go back to the resort and shower and take a break when we have our "special meal" . We feel its like a date or make its more special to take the time to fix up a bit.

I think we will plan on having a later dinner and go back to the resort to freshen up first. When we were there last September it was in the 90's and we were quite "ripe" by dinner time .
