Hey All, I managed to snag a last minute reservation for Labour Day weekend. First time we are staying here. I was wondering if any of you can give us some advice on rooms, what to do and not to do, etc.

What size unit are you staying in? HH category or not?

HH means near the Hospitality House. I THINK the buildings which are in that category are 11-14, and 23-27. I've heard that 14 is right next to the road and kind of noisy; that parking in 11 is VERY hard. We stayed in a 2 BR on the top floor of building 28, just past 27, and loved it. Peaceful view, short walk to the main pool, and the bus stop was just over in front of 27.

If it's important to you, and it is to me, I like Phase 2 which has an entry to the toilet area of the master bathroom through the laundry room. In Phase 1 (this is the portion of OKW that starts at the front of the resort near HH and was the first part to open at OKW), anyone staying on the sleeper sofa or sleeper chair in the living rooms would have to go through the master bedroom to get to the master bath (if they weren't or couldn't use the 2nd bdrm bathroom).

We love Turtle Pond for the quiet, quiet pool, views and you can walk to the HH area if you want. And that second door to the master bathroom is great.
