Attention DVC members

I am just starting the planning for our trip in July. Total of 16 adults, 7 children, and 3 infants. Ressies at OKW in two Grand Villas and two studios for 5 nights - almost 3 years of points. I asked for suggestions on one of of the other boards, but did not receive one response. Any help from DVCers?

Our next trip will be July 14th to the 27th at OKW in a two bedroom. There will be 8 of us--three daughters and their hubbies/significant others. Then we go again from November 17th to the 26th--so we'll be there over Thanksgiving--again in a two bedroom with the entire crew. Our youngest daughter worked at SciFi Dine-In Theater last summer as part of the College Program. She got a phone call last week from Casting asking her to be in the Tapestry of Nations parade this year from June until January 2002 !! Needless to say, it did not take her long to say YES. It will be fun to see her in the parade! Also glad we have the Thanksgiving ressies so we can spend one holiday with her.

Going home to BW Saturday 2/10 until Friday 2/16. Our first visit since we became members last March when we were vacationing at Port Orleans. Have a 2br sv. Just made my ressies for BWV for Sept. 22-28 . . . second time at my home resort since joining last March. I made the plane reservations 2 days ago, so it's pretty well set. All I have to do is reserve the Limo.

Last time I went with family, so this time I'm taking 3 friends to do a "girls' vacation." Two of them have never "done Disney", so I can't wait to share the magic. It should be a great trip!

We will be going to WDW in late March (Spring Break) and staying at OKW. Then in early July we will spend a week at Hilton Head.

My DW, DS, DD and I are heading to the Boardwalk May 26 -29 for a long week-end. This is our first trip as DVCers. We are also taking my mother. We are staying in a 1 -Bedroom preferred view, hopefully overlooking the Boardwalk. I wasn't counting, but I saw another post for the same time period that mentioned 99 Days. So now I am counting.

This trip has been 1 1/2 years in planning and finally it is getting closer (made first PS ressie today!)! We are going to OKW June 5-8, then heading to VB until the 11th for our desert rat kids to experience the Atlantic Ocean for the first time, then head back to OKW from the 11th until June 20! Cannot wait!

We booked two studios at BWV for September for 15 nights. We are taking my sister and brother in law. Of course Sept. is too long for me to wait so I just secured a great airfare to LAX and we are going to Disneyland in March for a week, but not on points. Can't wait.

We'll be going home on April 6th. Splitting our time between VB and VWL. This will be our first stay at both of these resorts and we cant wait. Our home resort is HH which we just love and have gone home to once and last year we spent the week and OKW. We are just loving our membership!!!!!

Just got back from BWV (Jan 27 - Feb 3rd), and while I was there I planned my next trip for the 2nd week of December 2001. I'm on a waiting list for the first week of Dec. Darn! Hopefully, I'll get in. One week is just too short.

We are going for 2 nights to VB followed by 3 nights at BWV and 3 nights at VWL in August. We'll be celebrating a BIG wedding anniversary, 25 years!

On our 1st DVC vacation this coming October, hubby and I are taking my mom (who has never been to Disney and has guilted me into taking her ) and my aunt (to be company for my mom while hubby and I are occupying our time wisely ) and going on the 4 days at OKW and 3 days onboard the Disney Wonder (we did this last Sept. and it was GREAT ) I can't wait!!!

We will be going down the end of May for a week at OKW, then to Vero for 5 days and back to WDW for a few days. I am not sure where we will stay on the weekend after returning from Vero. We do have ressies for BWV for that Sunday and Monday.

Any suggestains We will likely only have 4 or 5 in are group at this point. I thought about going to Sanibel Island to look for Sea shells, ect.

We feel in Love with Vero last year and will likely always include it on our trips.

We arrive at WDW in 19 days In-laws will be joining us at OKW for some of the time (We are a family of 5), and my cousin's family (4) and Aunt will be staying at OKW on their points. We also have friends who are flying with us but staying off-site. We hope to do a water park and some free says with them.

We are taking our first trip as DVC members over Memorial Day weekend. 1 Weekend night at All Star Movies and then off to our home OKW for 5 nights in a Grand Villa. Family coming with us for a very, good time! Can't wait!

We are going to be staying at BWV for Christmas and New Years this year. Even though it is a little far in advance we are still very excited!!

Hi Colleen,

I noticed that this is your first post on DIS. From one CT resident to another, WELCOME!

We stayed at OKW for the Millennium NYE celebration and had a wonderful time. It will be remembered as one of our best NYE's, especially since we had both of the "children" with us. (They were 18 and 21 at the time. )

It is a great time to go. You can't beat the fireworks! Have a great time!!!

We are busily making plans for our first two trips as DVC members! The first will be April 27-May 4 in a studio at OKW to celebrate my DH's 40th! Then we will be staying in a 2 bedroom Dec. 1-8th!!!
