I've seen you talk about email's you get with promo codes. how did you sign up for them?

i've signed up for everything under the sun and still haven't received any promo codes ever.

i'd love to get 40% off codes one of these days.

No one seems to know exactly how you are selected to receive a "code". Some think it is based on a lottery, others think they send out codes to a select demographic that Dsiney maybe marketing towards. Sign up to receive all emails from Disney, and also call them directly to see if they have your correct mailing and email address. Good luck!! I wanted the 40% off code, but I didn't receive it. Everyother code I have received I have not been able to use.

I interrupt this thread to report that CanadianGuy may be slow in responding as he has become a Mod! I'm sure he'll still be visiting us here but he probably has to spend a lot of time on the Disney Resorts board. Maybe if we start to misbehave they'll assign him to us.

I'm dead sure that we got the 40% off code.. because of the trip I took with friends last summer..

We got an email that said "Hey Knox Family" -- but we are SO not a family -- inviting me to come back with the big savings and all.

The email came to an address I only gave them for the trip last summer.. as opposed to any of the addresses I gave them for the vacay planning DVD, etc.

So.. taking a trip seemed to help in my case. Sorry.. that's probably not the answer you want to hear.
