Just beginning preliminary planning on my Nov '05 trip and although my heart is set on WL, I know my bank account just can't swing it. So I'm back researching the moderates. We want to try a different one than CBR this time and since we're southern, Port Orleans really holds no appeal. That just leaves one choice - CSR.

My question is this....can you get cheese danishes (like the ones at Old Port Royale in CBR) at the Pepper Market at CSR? I'm afraid lack thereof will negate CSR as an option because my sister will refuse to go without those danishes.

Can anyone help me with this? I know it's sad, cheese danishes as a deal breaker!

No, unfortunately the bakery at the Pepper Market just offers bagels, english muffins, and toast.

You could make a special trip over to PO and get a few cheese danishes and bring them back to your room though! ::yes::

They have great cheese danish to go at the Broadwalk bakery. We pick them up after Illuminations for a great breakfast the next AM.

Thanks guys!! I've decided to give POFQ another look and it does seem a bit different that POR (southern mansions and hospitality abound around where I live and I want to "get away from it all" not sink right back in the middle of it) and according to Deb's site POFQ does have danishes. I'm not so sure I like the setup of the Pepper Market anyway. It's got a lot of mixed reviews.

If you want to escape from the "southern" themed area at POFQ then request a room in the French Quarter section which resembles New Orleans. The Riverside (old Dixie Landings) section is the area that has the southern mansion style accommodations.

You can get cheese danish at the PM. As the sign clearly states. $2.95. I can't compare to CBR.

By some miracle of miracles, I've managed to convince my Sis to stay to Wilderness Lodge and Roaring Fork also lists Danishes on their menu (per All Ears).

We're both so happy we can't contain ourselves (that is until I realized how much money I'd have to come up with!)

Thanks to everyone that helped with my rather peculiar danish question!
