Attending a Disney Wedding in January need help/advice

I think this would be the best place to ask this question.

My family is going to attend a Disney wedding in January ( we are totally )

It is going to be wonderful.

Now I have not been able to get a clear answer from the Bride or her parents who do work for Disney about how this all works.

In the invitation we got a link to book our "special" rates, however every single time I try to book it, not able to.

So instead I just went on my own to hold it right now, we are looking into flights.

My other question is this: The reception is in Epcot, does that mean we all must purchase at least a one day pass to get into Epcot?

thats too funny, I am getting married in Disney in Jan .... Anyway, in regards to if you need a ticket to Epcot, it really depends ont he wedding party. We are having an dersert party in Epcot, and we are paying a fee for all our guests so they dont have to purchase a ticket. This is something though you will need to ask the bride and groom about to be sure.

as for the rooms, the internet link is a little weird, we had some issue with ours as well. You are better off calling the number that is on the save the date you recieved. you can try this phone number(it is the number we gave to our guests,not sure if it goes to a specific person or the wedding dept, but I am sure they can direct you) 407-827-6799

The bride is going to be a Dr. and has been so busy as well as her family, so we didn't want to be a pest.

We want to be there for her special day, it's amazing I used to babysit her many moons ago. Her bridal shower was this past weekend and it was the best one I have ever been to!

Where in Epcot is the reception? Will you be watching IllumiNations?

Guests of ceremonies and receptions inside the parks don't need to pay admission. The one exception is if you will be watching IllumiNations, which is usually done as either a dessert party or a cocktail hour before the actual reception. IllumiNations requires a viewing fee, but 9 times out of 10, the bridal couple pays this for their guests, who never even know about it. Otherwise, the bridal couple *should* let you know if they'd like you to use your own park admission to save them a few bucks.

We had the people in our party who owned employee passes use theirs for our IllumiNations dessert party, and we paid the viewing fee for everyone else.
