What cell phone plans do you have with ATT? Has anyone changed over to family share or the Next plan? If so what are your experiences?

We have the family share plan. I like the plan...BUT they have to worst customer service...EVER!

I was just on the phone with them this morning for almost 2 hours. Took my old phone to the local store because the screen wouldn't turn on. Bought the phone originally in Aug 2012, so it's got some age on it. She couldn't get it to work so we began discussing my option?: upgrade or buy one outright. Bought a 5C for around $500. Put it on a payment plan. Got my bill yesterday and it looked off. Called about it and started talking to the ATT person and she tells me my original phone was insured! Didn't know I had that...BUT it had been a long time since my plan was set up....

Long story short, the ATT lady did not tell me I had insurance, which would have covered a replacement! When I called today, all they said they could do is comp me $125! I was outside the 14 days "buyer remorse" period! I've learned a valuable lesson...always pay attention to the details in the phone bills! Good news is my son just cracked his screen and IT IS INSURED!!!

We just recently switched to ATT Next. Previously we had 700 talk minutes, unlimited texting and 10g of data to share between three of us. my daughter and I had iPhone 4's and my husband had a 4S. Our bill was crazy high (over $200/month) Our bill is now $145.

I am happy with the savings. it will go up to about $195 because my daughter and I both just got iPhone 5S and we put them both on the payment plan (approx. $25/month) Our plan includes insurance, but I am going to cancel it and get it through a 3rd party because it's cheaper and better coverage.

Yes. We have the family plan.

It works well for us. We currently have 3 phones and a tablet on our plan.

Dh's work gives us a 25% discount and pays his portion (about $50) so we pay $25 for the plan plus $15 per phone and $10 per tablet, equalling $65 plus about $10 in tax OOP.

Dh's phone was purchased through work and they paid for it. I found an iPhone 5 on CL and my son has a Galaxy 3 from CL.

Do know that go to the local Wal-Mart buy a Go-Phone for under 100 dollars right. I have not bought a ATT phone out store years. i either use ebay or wal-mart get ATT phone. I have ZTE Mustang or call ZTE z998 i got off ebay for 70 bucks and the phone cost 159 dollars in store.

Also if they have a new pre-paid go plan called the Wal-mart plan that has unlimited minutes and texting and 1gb data for 45 dollars. But have ask for it. That is plan i am on.

Huh? There is no $25 plan. The cheapest family plan on ATT is $120.
