Hi all, a little bit confused with my ATOL protection (I have a certificate)

I have booked a package holiday through Virgin - I went to a Virgin shop and booked flights, disney/universal tickets and hotel all as a package under ATOL protection. Does ATOL only cover me for the flights and hotel but not the tickets?

Assuming not, I would need to get travel insurance to cover this - I travel in August.

Many thanks for your help and hope that everyone has sorted their issues with cancellations etc.

Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (ATOL) is a United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) scheme to give financial protection to people who have purchased package holidays and flights from a member tour operator.

Did they provide you with any info on what, exactly it covers when you purchased it, such as a brochure or any written information? Is there a website noted in the materials that you can visit and get more details? That is where I'd start.

On the ATOL certificate, it says what is included is a package holiday to orlando for 15 nights.
Below that is two different flights.

So wondering if it is just the flights that are atol protected or everythint in the package.

Very confused. I have emailed Virgin but do not expect to get back to me any time soon.

Thanks for help guys fingers and toes crossed for all you guys hoping to go away xx
