Hi all,

We are going to do the 3 day cruise in 4 weeks! I booked a room at the comfort inn but I wonder if it would be warm enough for us to enjoy the pool/slides. Has any one done it recently?

Many thanks for your help,

Jane

2 years ago, the last week of Jan, it was too cold and windy to even think about swimming or staying poolside in Jann at the Atlantis. But you have to remember, that was a VERY VERY VERY cold winter.

We were at Atlantis last January. It was cool but there were still plenty of people enjoying the pools.

A friend of mine was staying at Atlantis for a week in Jan that year and he said there were days they couldn't even leave the hotel it was so cold and they didn't have clothes that were warm enough! He had a dolphin swim booked for one day and it was 45 degrees out! Needless to say they missed that swim!

Uhmm, I might have to cancel my reservation if it is that cold. There are certainly other things we can do since this is our first trip to Nassau. I have 5 days before our checkin date to cancel. I will check the weather forecast then. Thanks a lot for the information. I know better what to expect now.

The year we are talking about was really sort of a freak thing....Honestly Jan is to cool for me to cruise but I like really warm/hot weather!
