Atlantis question

Does anyone know what it actually costs to go to the dig site? Would it be cheaper just to hop in a cab and pay to enter rather than pay for the excursion? Thanks in Advance!

I was told that it costs about $29 pp for tickets to the dig and you can catch a cab for about $4 each way. We decided to do it this way rather than pay and go on the tour because this way we wont be rushed to get to the tour on time etc... We figured we can take the Nassau Historic City tour, walk around the Straw market, eat lunch at Conch Fritters then catch a cab at our leisure to Atlantis buy our tickets to the dig there and then walk around without being rushed.
We are going to be on our honeymoon and my fiance is very adamant about not being rushed and having to run around everywhere.
