Atlantis Port Excursion

First time cruiser, so sorry if this is a silly question.

I booked the Atlantis excursion for our Nassau day as we have never been and would like to experience it. The times show from 9:15 to 1:15. Do you really have to leave the waterpark at 1:15? That seems very early and makes me think the excursion is not worth doing. Does anyone have any insight?

You can take a cab back wherever. We’ve done Atlantis independently and through a cruise, only booked the cruise excursion because it was actually cheaper than purchasing from Atlantis that time. The excursion probably comes with a tour. Ditch the tour, get towels, grab some lounge chairs (we like to set up by the not lazy river) and be ready to enjoy the slides at 10 (we start in the river, it takes you to some slides). Che k out a map in advance.

Just let the guides know you're going back on your own so they don't waste time waiting or looking for you.

Oh. And be sure to watch the clock and leave enough time to get back to the pier. Unless you want to star in a "pier runner" video.
