Has anyone rented a room at Comfort Suites for the day and found it cheaper then the excursion price? There will be 3 of us. Thanks:)

Yes, we have, and lots and lots of other people. I imagine there are threads full of info on this. People seem to get a variety of prices, but all cheaper than doing it through Disney. It's easy to get (or share) a cab with others on your cruise (post about it on your meet thread) and go over to the hotel, spend about 20 minutes getting checked in and out, and then another 10 minutes walking over to the park.

It's a nice place, but no where near as nice as the Disney water parks.

I priced CS for my family before our cruise in May. It wasn't a tremendous savings after all the fine print fees. When you get to the final page before booking you'll see some fine print that describes their various fees and states that these are not included in the room estimated total. It was a negligible enough amount that we opted to just book they the cruise line and be done with it.

This is what we did, book with Disney after researching it all! I think it was best since just a day or so before the cruise, they switched the Nassau day!

There are 7 of us who enjoy Atlantis very very much! Ages from 7 to 68 this year!:thumbsup2

Yeah, possible itinerary changes definitely factored in for us. The best available rate at CA was a prepaid, non-refundable. If there was an itinerary change then we'd have been SOL. No thanks.

Only 3 of us, me. DH and DD, we also booked through Disney, wasn't much of a price difference, cause it is the week of Thanksgiving. Felt better just going with Disney, just in case something happened.

not if you include it in your trip insurance

we didn't book the CS for the 1st time last trip since there were only two of us although we did decide to grab a cab back later OOP.

imo atlantis far superior to any US waterpark (especially when u factor in the aquatic displays, beach, etc.) including disneys.
