Has anyone taken advantage of the Comfort Inn and the Atlantis on the day they are in Nassau?? I have a few questions??10 How much was it for the room. 2)Did you actully use the room at all? 3) What did the fee include? 4) What time did you leave the ship and when did you return?? Were you rushed?? 5) Would you do it again??

We are thinking of doing this on our next cruise as we didnt really enjoy Nassau. Thanks for any info.

We paid 190 for the room for the day but this did not include the 12% tax plus 6.00 per person gratuity. I booked on the internet and they give you a 10% discount.

We left the ship at 10ish and took a taxi to the Comfort suites.
It was 4 dollars a person for the ride.... ask how much before you get in. The ride was 10-15 minutes at the most. Check in was quick and that was the last time we were at the suites. We did express check out. At the desk you get vouchers for the pools that you need to take over to the Atlantis Towel Booths near the pool areas. This is were you trade in the vouchers for a bracelet and towels that you can use for the day. You need to return these at the end of the day so that you aren't charged for them.

Almost forgot, it is a short walk to the hotel but it is a long walk into the pool area and finding a towel hut, it probably took us a half hour to get our barrings, the place is huge!!!!

The kids loved it, (mine are 10 and 8 ). They spent all day in the pools and slides. One of the beaches was closed to swimming because the waves were a little rough. But the Cove Beach was open. We had lunch at Shark Bites and spent 63 dollars on two kids meals and two cheese burgers and two Pina Coladas.....very expensive....

We walked around the Dig and we looked at two souvenier shops before we headed back to the ship at 4:30 to shower and make our 6:00 dinner...(We had animator's palette that night and we didn't want to miss that!) So we rushed!!!

Was it worth it?? The kids had fun and thought it was great (We watched Holiday in the Sun a hundred times before we went on this trip!!!) My husband and I have already decided that on our next cruise (yes there will be a next one!!!) we will skip Nassau.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't mind staying there someday but there is just no way to justify that kind of money for what you get.....

And I actually saw some people who paid for access to the beach and dig only, no pools or slides(about 100 bucks is what I remeber them saying they paid )in the pools. They had blue bracelets, we had orange and no one was checking bracelets at all....But it may not always be like that...It was really crowded that day, they were filming Regis and Kelly by the pools...

Hope this help!

We went to Atlantis through DCL excursion ($50 adult, $40 child) and saw the grounds and had use of the beach all day. Kids didn't even venture to the water slides so I can't help you on weather they checked or not. We were able to rend the big water bikes which are right by the beach entrance and they loved that. We are cruising in four weeks and the Comfort Suites has been booked for months or I would have tried that just to see the difference.

Our boys 10 & 13 loved our day at Atlantis. we did the same as jeanie, but our room at Comfort was $100 in December, thanks in part to AAA. We went to it for a few minutes and never returned.

The pools, slides and the buildings are worth it. There are not many great thins to do in Nassau. Atlantis is worth spending the day.
