Traveling on the Dream mid April and can't decide to stay on the ship in Nassau or hop off for a bit. Only thing that intrigues me is the potential to play golf at Atlantis. And to see some history but the rest of my group is planning on staying behind. But the kicker is I am not sure it's worth the $580 greens and cart fees, anyone ever seen them discount this when you board? I can't imagine this fills up that much but maybe I am wrong. Much thanks in advance.

I have not done the excursion through Disney. But I played there with my husband several years ago. I was recently on the Dream and did not see any discounts. I would not pay $580 for one person. It's a GORGEOUS course (not at Atlantis btw - it's about a mile away at the Ocean Club. Two different resorts) but never would I pay that much. We got a 2 for 1 twilight deal when we went but that was through Atlantis.

Interesting that it's listed on the excursions as Atlantis... thanks for the heads up, I tried to book it outside of Disney and you have to be staying at Atlantis or the One and Only Club... pretty sad that a round in the morning is $295 booked through directly at the course, of course that doesn't include club rental etc. but I could probably buy a set in downtown Nassau for the $285 upcharge Disney's asking for

I appreciate the response!

Of course! If you look at a map you'll notice that Atlantis is on one side of Paradise Island and the Ocean Club is located on the other side. I think it's listed under Atlantis because they just deem it as their course although I think it's just a partnership between the properties.

Interesting that you can only book through them if you're staying at Atlantis or One and Only Club. I looked on the Comfort Suites Website and they have a number there to call - doesn't mention anything about that?

Good luck! I hope you get to play!

This is probably a remnant of when they were related entities. Atlantis and the Ocean Club used to be owned by the same company/person: Kerzner. Atlantis' shuttles included a stop at the Ocean Club on their circuit. Ocean Club guests used to be able to use Atlantis' facilities and attractions. But Atlantis' ownership structure changed a few years ago, and they are no longer corporately related.
