We can not decide on a shore excursion! :jumping1: We would like to do the Pirate Museum, but would also like some time at Atlantis! Will we have time to do both?? Any advise welcomed! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

If your looking to just go to Atlantis and walk around and see the place and some of the grounds..I'd look into going on your own and not booking through DCL. It's a simple and not to spendy taxi ride (I think it was close to $12) to Atlantis...and from there you can look around the Hotel and Casino all you want. You will be limited to some areas...like the slides/pools are off limites to non hotel guest. But you can pay a seperate admission to go through the aquarium (about $25pp) Then spend some time at the public beach behind the Hotel. Then when your ready to go just call or catch another taxi and head back...or to your next place.

If you do Atlantis with an excursion or on your own it wont even take 1/2 a day. Do it in the morning and either have lunch there or go back to the boat for lunch. Then you can easily walk to the pirate museum. It is a large purple building located behind the straw market. You will have to walk 2 blocks up, behind the straw market, you cant miss it and it is a good museum. Well worth the $12 per adult it costs. It took us about an hour and 15 minutes to leisurely go through it. There is a lot to read, so it takes a little while to go through. It is self-guided, so you go at your own pace. You can easily do both and even have time for a horse drawn carriage ride by the port on your way back to the ship. $10 per person, about 25 minutes long.

Yes! Totally doable! We headed out in the morning afer breakfast and walked to the Pirate Museum. We then walked through town, hit a few shops and came through the straw market. We bought some trinkets and souvenirs then came back to the ship and ate lunch. We then went back out and took a taxi over to Atlantis and spent the afternoon in the casino and looking around the resort gift shops and then came back to the ship in time to get ready for dinner.
