Steve, my friend from Columbus, and I had a great time. Fred had Navy duty, so I flew all by my lonesome to Columbus to visit with Steve, a dear friend I've known since 1979. He knew NOTHING about pins and was full of questions on our way to Atlanta on Friday. I did my best. I think he "gets it". He said he did have a good time and found it quite interesting. He evn went home with a few pins.
I was able to get some Pooh pins I didn't have, which is ALWAYS nice! hehehe!, Thanks Ashley and Mary Etta! I also got to complete my Kodak bicentennial set!! I got my fife Goofy and drummer Donald from Mary Etta! I was so excited!!
Ashley made me the cutest "sun-catcher" with a certain bear and gave me a pretty sterling silver enamel Pooh pon. She is just one of the most thoughtful people. A fun trader too of course.
I did not get my # drawn for door prize, but Gabby gave me her Pooh's she had won, and then Justin gave me a Pooh pen, and Ashley gave me a different Pooh pen and Pooh note pad. And Dana gave me the cutest Pooh zipper pull. It was kinda like Christmas!!
Oh Friday night, Steve and I went to a Braves Game and watched the Braves beat the Arizona Diamond-backs..woo hoo!!!! That was super!!
Anyway, Micheal and Corey went out of their way as usual to make it just so wonderful. It is always wonderful to be with such wonderful friends, making lasting friendships and magical memories!!
Oh and Micheal, I'm sure you got your Stitch surf pin from Robin. I honestly was just having fun, I'd never take your Stitch. That would be like someone snagging pooh from me!! Wahhh!! Big time! LOL!
Blessings to all,
Winnie
