Heres your choices for locations
La Madeleine at Perimeter Center. They have a side room that we can use, and that if we ever get that big can be closed off (holds 50 or so people) for a $75 fee. Nice thing about La Madeleine is that they have regular food as well as muffins and such that you can purchase. I was told, though, to wait until after the new year before making any reservations (so far they have none for January). If we want to go here, we can either take our chance on having plenty of space, or actually making reservations after the new year.
La Madeleine in Duluth (same info as above, though side area is smaller than at Perimeter Center)
Discover Mills mall. I realize this is in a different direction for you guys, but heres the advantage. Regardless of how busy the place is, its never been full that Ive seen. They have lots of little side areas with benches and such, or a large food court. Theres also Books a Million that has a little coffee area to one side. No reservations required, shouldnt have any problems with space. No expectations that you need to order anything (though plenty of food is available if you decide). Its easy to find too.
Ill let you guys vote, and Ill post the decision after the holiday.
