Atlanta DIS meet ***Saturday Feb. 22***

Seeing all the pictures from the Chicago DIS meet has given me a hankerin' (now how's that for a southern word ) for an Atlanta DIS meet. I was thinking of having it either Feb. 1 of Feb. 22. Anyone interested?

***UPDATE***

Since it seems like the 22nd of February will work best for everyone, we'll have it then! We will most likely be meeting at the Golden Corral on Barrett Pkwy. at 1:00 pm. As soon as we get a good headcount I will see if we have enough people to reserve the private room at the Golden Corral. I will also post directions to the restaurant. Looks like we'll have a great turnout!

I think Atlanta is about 6-8 hours from Orlando.

Hmmmm. I am thinking here. I would love to go somewhere new. I wonder if I can round up a couple of the Tampa people. If I did, later in the month would probably be better for us since I would have to ask for a day off. Dont try to work around me though. I am still thinking.

Have any cheap places in mind Olena?

The 22nd would be a better date for us. Has anyone sent Kermit a PM (thanks Olena for the PM) - she might be willing to drive and show that baby off. This would be so much fun, just keep us posted.

Christine--it would be great if you could join us! It took me 8.5 hours to get from my house (I live just north of Atlanta in Marietta) to Orlando, including a stop at Cracker Barrel for lunch. I would guess that it would take about 45 min. to 1 hour less if you ate at a fast food place instead of Cracker Barrel.

I hope Amy can make it with her little guy! I just love babies!
