Any of you people : know some useful sites to find out the layout of this airport? Our family of 4 are flying Manchester( UK) to Atlanta with Delta Airlines then switching to an internal flight with Delta to MCO. Is it easy to get from International terminal to terminal for internal flights?

Any information will be most welcome - Thanks

I have travelled a few times with Delta to Atlanta it is very easy to get from one terminal to another they have a shuttle train service every few minutes you should have no problem and Delta are a good airline we have never had any trouble with them at all i hope you have a great holiday we have just got home a week ago it was wonderful

We have gone through ATL twice. Once in August 2003 for a trip to Califronia. We had a looooong wait in Immigration (well, I didn't as I am American, but my DH and stepdaugthers did) and we missed our connection flight. Last month we went to ATL for a friend's wedding reception and had no problems with getting around. The tram is very quick and comes every couple of minutes to get you to all the terminals. What did surprise me is (that took ages) was our luggage had to be rescreened before leaving the airport.

Whatever you do, just make sure you have plenty of time in between flights as you just never know how long entering the country will take. Especially, since you will have to collect your baggage and recheck since ATL is your entrance into theUS.

Thank you everybody for the advice provided. juliebro -The airport site was particularly helpful as it had a walkthrough presentation of what to do as an International passenger - thanks for that!!!

Tonya - I've been told by the Travel Agent( Bon Voyage) that, as our flights have been booked with the express purpose of getting us to MCO,Delta will make sure we catch the connecting flight( We land at 16:05 Hrs and the connection leaves at 17:50Hrs) I'm not that bothered if we have to catch the next one but could do without hanging round an airport unnecessarily, especially as my wife is not the best of flyers. At the price we got the flight :) I'm not gonna complain but my good lady will be sure to give me an earbashing :worried: as she would prefer to fly direct. Have I been sold a dummy by the TA? If so - I'll have to start damage limitation now and we don't fly till April
