Atkins/stamina during workouts

I am on my 3rd wk of Atkins, out of induction, but still following it. I have added other foods, here and there, and things are going great. My daily carbs are still around 7-12. I am just not that hungry. Anyway, my question is: before Atkins, I could walk a brisk pace 3-5 miles, no problem...(thanks to carbs and sugar!!) Now I am pushing 2 miles. And I am training for a 25 mile bike ride...I was up to riding 17 miles, 2 days a week. Now, I am dying to finish 10 miles. It seems my stamina is gone. My DH is doing this with me (sort of, he cheats here and there!) and he noticed a difference in his stamina, too? Also, wondering what I can possibly eat to get a "boost" before workouts?
 
I really think its from dehydration....you need more water!! I know you probably don't notice it. But for some reason...Atkins makes me run (and DH for that matter) dehydrated.

I suggest drinking while you go...it has seem to really increase my staminia. Have about 8oz before...and then I usually fininsh about 24oz during every 30 mins of my workout.
About every seven minutes or so...I guzzle some water.
