Atkins/Fat Fast

Has anyone ever done the Atkins Fat Fast? I am thinking of doing it?
Any advice, or stuff you want to add, I am COMPLETELY OPEN to suggestions! I have the book and have re-read the section, but I wanted to get practical guidance about it.

Atkins makes it clear that the fat fast is only a last resort for those people who are metibolically resistant (aren't able to get into ketosis). It's not supposed to be used to jump-start your weight loss, or get through a stall (more than 5 weeks without any weight loss).

That said - I have heard of people doing it and having success with getting into ketosis with it.

If you decide to do it, make sure it's only for a very short time, because it's not a very healthy way to lose weight for a long period of time. Good luck!

Michelle, I haven't actually tried the fat fast. I'm wondering WHY you're thinking of trying it?

It's my frustration talking, I have really been "un-motivated" since December, where my scale stopped. I read thru my book, and thought it might bump me up to the next level.
Rhonda is right, though, I will REALLY read the text and get better informed.

How about trying KISS for a few days? I've done it once or twice when things weren't moving much.
