Hi all,

I ate at the "T-Rex" prototype twice when Kansas City last weekend and it was very good. It is similar to "Rain Forrest" but has dinasours as the theme instead(same owners). If they can keep the food quality up then I think it will be a hit when they get to the Market Place. Their French Onion Soup and Caesar Salad were very good as was their BarBQ. I didn't take any pics but I will try to post their menu soon.

Thanks,
Ted.

We're in the KC area and my kids love to go to T Rex. They haven't asked to go to RFC since T. Rex opened. The food is kind of the same. Honestly you are probably safest ordering a Cheeseburger or a sandwich. You are really paying for the atmosphere. We haven't let the girls do the Build-a-Dinasour yet, but they are dying to do it. The place is always packed. We are talking about 3 hour waits on weekends!

I hope I'm not too off topic, but where is T-rex in K.C.? I grew up there and when we visit my parents it would be fun to go.

It's in KCK by Nebraska Furniture Mart. It is in the new Legends shopping mall. It is a new outdoor shopping area that has some pretty cool stuff. I woul suggest going to the mall and putting your name in at the restaraunt first thing and then walking around till it is time to eat. They will give you a beeper.

I hope you go. It is worth it just to see the place once!

Here ya go,

They take limited reservations but I would suggest calling a day ahead.

The website is www.trexcafe.com and the phone number is 1-913-334-8888. The hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, open until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Thanks,
Ted.

They should be in Downtown Disney soon.

Hopefully this will be up and running at DTD by June when we get there. I'll know as soon as I call for ressies in a couple months:goodvibes
